The wealth of knowledge you share in every video is amazing. I am not there yet tuning my first project, '39 Ford, but I know who's videos I'm going to consult.
Great video. Loved the cross ram intake, but the dual throttle bodies and separate intake runners make it run like two separate engines. Which is why it gave you such a headache.
I don't blame You wanting to buy it from Him Joe, that thing is SWEET.. Thanks For the Vid. And the Tune the Trilogy course has been helping Me understand EFI better than ever! Thanks for everything man.
Outstanding video, as usual!! Was wondering why you tuned with the smaller 16x16 tables for fuel/spark? Do you find it simpler overall then having the higher resolution for tuning all the transient drivability? Thanks for all the knowledge you share in your vids, it's very useful.
Beautiful truck! Man I know it isn't possible, but find myself chasing zero SO much!! It just drives me furious to open some of these files to find CL making 20 or more corrections. Smh...
The AC issue could be too much Freon in the system, maybe? Does DBW work faster than DBC, I have DBW and it seems to not have any issues with AC (I use the AC kick function). My truck has a L96 with a small truck cam.
Idling poor at 14.5:1 tells me he likely has some inbalance in the injectors at low pulsewidths. Some are much leaner than the avg. Since he's a Holley guy, he's probably using their chinese-made clone injectors - they aren't exactly fantastic.
