Dude, I gotta tell yah, this has been great to watch and see your improvements over time. You're nasty, my boy! I keep yelling out "F*ck yeah!" on a lot of those perfect dodges. Got slick.
oh holy fuck there's a lot to go over here lol. little side note, crystal sage is not a generic enemy, it's just mentioned in the lore that there's 2 of them, they're twins. side side note, perloiner is a fancy word for thief in this context so lothric and lorian!! the 3 princes of lothric are lothric, lorian, and ocelot. ocelot was the sickly child of dragons oceirus cared for. lothric and lorian are the 2 princes who are actually relevent to the story. i mentioned right at the beginning that this story was caused by the upcoming next lord of cinder for some reason refusing to kindle the first flame, that was prince lothric. in actuality, he was the second pick for lord of cinder, and it was originally supposed to be lorian, the elder brother. lorian was the styreotipical perfect warriar prince, and was being groomed as the next lord of cinder. at some point he went on a quest to exterminate the remaining demons, and came to duel the previous demon prince. he won the fight, but it crippled him. he was no longer able to walk and his holy sword became permanently infused with demon chaos flame. to be clear, LOTHRIC is the one who is manually teleporting his older brother lorian in the fight using his magic, lorian is a cripple crawling everywhere without his brother. because of this development, the next lord of cinder was instead to be lothric, a prince who was always sickly and physically weak, but gifted in miracle magic. he likely was always disillusioned at the prospect of kindling the first flame, but what set him over the edge and determined his decision to abandon the flame was being convinced by a high ranking scholar in the grand archives... and that scholar... WAS SULIVAHN!!!! Now we have his full story. he was born in the painting, left because he hadn't experienced loss yet, became a scholar of the grand archives, discovered the profaned flame and cranked his ambition, convinced lothric to abandon the flame, found and rule irithil, and feed god corpses to aldrich before getting stabbed in the chest by you after the demon prince was slain by lorian and the old demon king and few remaining demons were killed by you, the demons in pain and below became the last 2 demons alive, and when you kill one, the other inherits the title of demon prince... thats pretty much it. I should mention that the entire ringed city DLC takes place in the future under the assumption that the world is coming to the age of darkness VERY soon, and the ringed city is located at the litteral end of the world. the dreg heap is an amalgomation of lands teraforming just like what happened in lothric, only worse and further down the timeline. the world is coming to an end... litterally. like its litterally at the edge of the world ill get into the lore of the ringed city next video
And the Lore Master strikes but yet again! Thanks so much for the story as always my guy! So I actually kinda unintentionally did the two sets of bosses in the “right”sequence lol. And the more I learn about Pontiff from you, the more I think it’s funny we killed him in like 40-50% of game lmao. My guy literally had a XK-End of the World scenario planned out just to be hit in the head by an absolutely nobody lol.
Fun fact about the demon princes; if you kill the other demon second, there's a different phase 2, because the other demon revives. The other phase 2 has lots of lazers and beam attacks.
16:42 BEHOLD THE POWER OF THE CHAOS FLAME!!! Old and faded it may be, BUT IT IS ALIVE AND POWERFUL, so be ready for THE UNMATCHED POWER OF THE SUN! Actually, the flame of light is what causes the sun in this world, but massive fucking fireball is close enough
Very well done. It's always a earth shattering moment when Midir shows up, considering we (the player) killed all dragons up to this point. Shame that one of the best swords only becomes available right before the end of the game. Congratulations.
man keep on what you are doing, your vids are so entertaining. hope you explore the whole game and finish it with satisfaction. blessing of the moon upon your journey
The ringed city dlc weapons and armor sets are so cool lmao. Had the same reaction when I saw that knight standing menacingly for the first time😂 Also I see you introduced yourself to midir
12:11 so a lot of these structures are areas from the first two games, or ruins thereof. This is to show that Reality is kinda collapsing in on itself right now. I'm sure it's _Fine,_ and absolutely nothing to worry about...
You're over leveled for the twin princes but 1) twin princes have many shortcuts, there's one near the arena the main lift etc 2) you're having stamina problems. Equip the chloranthy ring which gives a buff for stamina regen. Grass crest shield also works 3) the shield of want gives a buff to souls. Everyone wants more souls 4) the demon princes are a tag team boss 5) the crystal sage can be parried 6) before the demon prince you can summon gael and lapp( if you agree to help him) 7) you know the dragonslayer armor. You can get his armor by defeating him again in the ringed city swamp 8) near the guy who summons the arrow guys. There is a ledge you can drop to and get avoided 9) from soft guaranteed 4 playthroughs for people who want all weapons. Twin princes soul has two weapons which guarantees 2 playthroughs but they can be combined so 2 more for them again 10) the dragon at the bridge is darkeater midir. A boss which has made a lot of dex builds
cool that you faced Lorian and Lothric then the Demon prince right after, because lore wise, Lorian almost killed the "Demon in pain", cool unnintentional sequence, also the boss i most hate fighting is actually the Tree adn Wolnir, I hate weak spot bosses
Lorian killed the demon prince. DIP and DFB if they are the last demon standing the soul of the demon prince gets inside the body. Reviving Demon prince
Im a little late, and I have kinda used up all of my creative comments (ill come up with new ones prolly). So lets just say im here to show support, leave a like and to watch you grow bro. Very excited for the next one already.
I fought the twins along side a friend XD and I had one of the most efficient build for them. My friend's only comment after the fight "I hate bleed build". I was litteraly "hit hit BAM 1/4 of the health bar gone rince and repeat"
Yo bro, make sure you fight Midir before you kill the boss in this area there will be some lady that you can talk to. Talk to her before fighting the boss and then she'll tell you to fight Midir and after you defeat him talk to her again and you'll get a titanite slab.
Least favourite boss is halflight/gockgoblin69 etc... i like my big epic bosses not a pvp arena Also the wax head stops the ghost hands from touching you
Crystal sage and aldrich are both my least favourite boss in the game. Before lorian you missed a small but challenging area with winged knights. After the trio you fought when you exit the building turn left. Also lorians weapon is worth trying out! Also you said the last dlc might be too early after lorian, but its not. You literaly have 1 boss left in the main game Also: hope you are feeling better and Wishing you the best! Lastly: dont forget the Midir boss fight. If you havent played elden ring he is very hard. If you did play ER he is nothing special
I def concur with your choice. I completely forgot about Aldrich lol. Thanks for the info on the wing knights my guy, I’ll check them out next vid. Lorian’s weapon was actually my top choice for my weapon when I looked it up cuz sb else recommended it I think but then I saw the paired greatsword lol. Also, thank you so much for the kind wishes bro. I’m feeling better and somewhat ready for the RU-vid grind again. Midir is definitely gonna be in next vid
@@TrueSquareFace Long, long ago, near the beginning of time, there was a powerful king that made war against an empire of dragons. His more human troops, however, terrified him with their power, despite their stature. And so, instead of rewarding them for their service, he trapped them here, in this ringed city, and set upon them one of the dragons he defeated, that none would ever escape. That dragon, Midir, has consumed countless humans over the centuries.
hell yeah! enjoy the new weapon man, against pve its super fun.. just don't bother in pvp cause everyone knows its moveset very well and you WILL get backstabbed XD
Least fav boss would have to be Wolnir, though honestly Curse Rotted Greatwood and Ancient Wyvern come close. As amazing as the Souls series is, they have a lot of doggy doo poo poo bosses hahaha
