I would disagree. -Sparks more confidence than the liver king. The liver king is buff -not stemming from his advertised products. That is an example of false confidence. Modifying the own DNA as a scientist is extremely radical. - No one watching captain america doubts the super soldier serum, because the scientist are not body builders themselves. Bryan Johnson is radical with his approach.

Seatbelt laws are just revenue generation laws, seatbelts save as many lives as they take. It really depends on what happens in an accident that decides your fate. All the safety features are not for your safety as much as they claim it to be and as much as the ones spending years researching crash physics want to believe.

@@d.j.b5901 Citation? I've gone been in a couple of accidents, glad I wore my seat belt instead of flying through the windshield. My son was hit by a drunk driver and he wore his seat belt and we are glad he did. Putting on your seat belt cost no money to do.

One of my big questions on this procedure is if any of the doctors, nurses or anyone else that works at the clinic has had the procedure. Or is it too risky for them? I did appreciate the delay in publishing this video to get the six month results. I think if Bryan wants to spend his money on being a human guinea pig, that's his choice and can be overall beneficial to humanity if everything is well documented. So, thanks Bryan for your sacrifice. The pathfinders are not always appreciated.

There was a recent video done on how bats live incredibly long lives compared to their counterparts. Bats for their size, live on average 40 years, whereas mice live 2-3 years. Also in flight, their body temperature skyrockets above 47°c. Any other mammal would suffer from organ failure at those temperatures. And one last thing is they almost never get sick, despite being carriers of sickness themselves. Even rabies doesn't affect them that much.

Personally, I think "Don't Die" sounds punchy and straight to the point, and also that it's not shameful to admit that you're afraid of death and want to avoid it. But, frankly, I think "Keep Living" does sound somewhat more positive. OTOH, if "Don't Die" is the optimally motivating slogan for Bryan, then I guess it's fulfilling its primary function.

He is so lean, I don't think this will really make a difference for his longevity. There are a few rare versions of SIRT6 that improve the repair of double strand DNA breaks that almost certainly could extend his expected lifespan. I think they more than double the odds of reaching 100. There are 150 genes, where 281 variants increase the odds of reaching 100. Not all of them are great, and some likely have to be present during development (some involve stunting and other reductions in important things, decreasing quality of life. Genes that increase elastin, for example, only act during early development, and leave you with all the elastin you will ever have). But, I bet there are at least 50 good candidates for modification, and no one naturally would have anything remotely close to that. There are genes that protect the kidneys, the liver, the heart, the arteries, the brain. Ones that ensure good glucose levels, good blood pressure, and retain bone density. And this retaining muscle. But as long as he continued weight training, muscle should be retained. On the downside, the more modified he becomes, the less the blueprint is applicable, because we don't know if it is the protocol or the genetic modification.

My father is 96 years old and still lives on a rural diet in Poland :) All my life home-baked bread, pork and chicken from my own farm, eggs from my own farm, milk and cottage cheese from my own cows, honey, lots of potatoes from my own field. When it comes to vegetables and fruits, in small quantities from your own farm (carrots, apples, cherries, red beets, parsley, tomatoes, pickled cucumbers, cabbage) He only suffered hunger strikes as a child when he had to hide as a child during the war in 1939-1944. He was imprisoned by the occupiers during this time and escaped from captivity.

I mean, I'm glad you're testing these kinds of things out so that we get more data. But, my thoughts are that if you truly want to live so long and are already heading down the right path, adding in additional untested interventions only increases your risk and adds the potential for complications. You could totally wait 20 years to see more data and then make a better decision without little to no repercussions.

Hey Bryan what are you going to do about your heart? the only way you'll be able to live beyond 120 is if you either get a human heart transplant, a heart xenotransplant, a mechanical heart or some form of extremely advanced heart rejuvenation therapy. Side note, you should really invest in personal security like body guards and stuff, a lot of people look at your journey as a front to the "natural" order of things, don't leave it to chance.

@maninbadmood8962 actually more likely an accident, the longer you live the higher the probability that some random event that's out of your control will take your life , especially if you live an active lifestyle that involves flying or driving. Look at Michael Moseley , he spent the last 15 yrs trying to not die of heart disease like his father , only to take a wrong turn on a path and die of heat exhaustion. It doesn't mean you should stop trying, but it something to be aware of.

Hey Bryan, I have a question, how do you attribute the increase in muscle mass to this vs something else you've been taking, and vice versa for another supplement. Is there a way you can isolate the efficacy of a treatment and quantifiably ascertain that it wasn't due to a cross reaction with say another supplement you have been taking.
