my body as a shield is very underrated imo, very versatile. When you listed your main issues against hero beat, it answers most of them. worth looking into
@@E3YuGiOh I saw it in the side, I should have been more specific: as even a 2-3 of, even potentially in the main, since it can also add to your spell count for monk. It seems strange at first but there could be merit to it. but yeh sometimes u just brick lol
I think that Trap Stun works better than MBAS, the only scenario that is if you're actively going to eat something that is going to explode in your face turn 2, like Bottomless, Torrential or Mirror Force.
that thumbnail is great also, for a second, i thought the far left card in the hand was commander gottoms, swordmaster the thought of that is really funny
Finally an X-Saber deck playing At One with the Sword. I been telling people this is a +2 and almost unreactable 1 thing this deck is definitely missing: X-Saber Axel. 1 of this in main is insane. It sets up turns where you draw 2-3 cards and set up E-Call so easy by crashing Emmersblades
@@E3YuGiOh I've been playing X-Saber for a long time, especially in Edison. Pretty much the only deck i play I can promise you that you're wrong on drawing cards. It's confirmation bias from drawing double Airbellum some times. I have never done the Axel play and it not essentially won me the game immediately from the advantage you gain. Trust me, try it. Also play 1 Avarice.
There are times I wish Edison had TSHD as a viable set. Cause we could play true X-Sabers with Boggarts and Dark Soul. And the deck would be so so strong. I still love seeing how its played in Edison with the available card pool though
Kinda surprised you cut Call of the Haunted. With as much time as I have on the deck, i find coth a bit better than e-call. Sure e-calls payoff can be higher, but alot of time you open multiples or don't have a summon for it to go off and it's just dead, where call can save you or enable you to go off
I had issues drawing too many revives early game. It has negative synergy with your sweepers and makes you more arguably vulnerable to spot removal due to the fact it needs to sit for a full turn cycle. It's not bad, but I couldn't find space for it and figured e call and faultroll are better (which for the most part they are)
Good video, only issue was the destruction of the super cat,i understand but i dont like people that throws cards on the trashes or destroys them for whatever reason, nice deck tho !
It's crazy to think that, but in modern yugioh we've seen a similar trend as well. Decks focusing on tutors and not maximizing or even playing draw cards all that much
@@E3YuGiOh Thats so true. modern yugioh also suffers from the fact that getting your pseudo pot of greed ashe blossomed can just straight up ruin your whole gameplan lmao
not sure if there is a ruling saying otherwise, but spirits state to go to hand in the end phase of the turn they are summoned or flipped face up. wouldnt that mean after 1 full turn in the fiendish chain, the dark dust had to stay on field ? edited to correct typos
I think that has to do with modern deckbuilding theory. If you play 5 of a card in 40 cards you have a 50% chance to draw one of those. To add more doesn't bring much of a probability change and I guess you don't really want to have many rats in the hand cause that doesn't really bring anything to the table and you can use the free space for something different
1. Emmersblade no we didn't 2. Ragigura no we didn't 3. Summoner monk no we didn't 4. Rota no we didn't 5. Gold sarc we didn't get this pharaohs rare. We got something infinitely worse. 6. Gottoms no we didn't 7. Black rose no we didn't 8. Stardust no we didn't
in the video you said it to gold sarcophagus which we got and is ugly also with most them other cards why not just play ghost rare for both extra deck cards and ultra for most the rest besides Rota I would go super
