Girl, remember when you went to Morocco? Please be safe. Life is all about being open-minded and trusting your own gut, to not be judgemental and think for yourself and all that jazz. But life is also about taking care of yourself.
@@Yourhighnessnona, no, it's not. And I empathize with your need to cling to your mistake, but good judgment involves learning, especially from one's mistakes, and not simply "trusting your gut."
Gurl they are not looking at your big camera they are looking at you. When I used to go in the hood, Overtown Miami or any other shady crime ridden place, I would dress androgenous just to keep it safe. I follow this chick's YT channel called ITCHY BOOTS and she travels by motorcycle to all the worse countries sometimes surrounded by big groups of men but never has a problem but she is always covered up. She even went through Sinaloa Mexico but then was escorted by friendly cops through the worst parts. Never try and push your luck, just keeping it real and looking out for you.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. She is seeking out the most dangerous places, and is half-dressed, with her sweater hanging off her shoulders and a short skirt. They probably will think she is a prostitute.
Mexico CIty resident here, you are pretty brave, not trying to downplay it, but Tepito isn't actually the most dangerous place, specially if you go to the market during daylight. The market sellers obviously won't allow crime to happen inside the market, it hurts their business, think of the market as a shield. Tepito mostly has a bad reputation because historically many criminals have lived there, and a lot of shady businesses do reside there. Though today I would say specific places in Iztapalapa are much more dangerous, also some suburbs surrounding Mexico City are very shady, but proper that is already the State of Mexico (a different state that surrounds Mexico City).
I’m here for this content ! Also one thing about it Susi is definitely not just book smart she’s street smart too you can clearly tell by her interactions… It’s giving @vice TV but with a pound of REALNESS … keep being you girl I’m proud of your fearlessness life is short! XOXO
When you stopped to eat your food alone in that alley or apartment area made me you nervous. Personally I’d avoid being alone in a place like that. Can we get an update on your dogs? Do you still have them?
Thanks for taking us on that journey. Loved learning about that city. I think that reputation is probably based on night activities as well. You looking extremely beautiful as well! Can’t wait until you make that journey to the US!
Femicides are still happening daily in mexico's major cities. please stay safe, your content lately has been very worrysome. It all feels like a tragedy waiting to happen.
The USA its shoutings mostly every day too and around the world but course juts mexico it's the only one has it right? Mexican woman be killed in Europe but the News don't from USA and Europe don't even talk about it 🤔
I only got a notification yesterday you are back😁. So happy like so many others I was so worried about you & tried to reach out on insta with no joy. You look amazing & hope you have an amazing 2024. Will definitely be watching your vids even if in Mexico City for now....always loved the cahoonas you have to go travelling alone in your van. The last I saw on insta your van died & you were possibly getting a boat....what happened to that? Take care, stay safe & have a wonderful day😁💛🧡💙
The old man tells you lies! It's still one of the most dangerous cities! Because nothing happens the day you was there that's definitely doesn't mean that its not dangerous! The gun's are coming out in a seconds and you have nowhere to hide! You should leave from there and I hope that you didn't spend your night there! Because you was lucky the first time that doesn't change anything
Please be safe Suzi! While interesting content is always nice. We would all much rather you be safe first! Glad to see you back and ready to see what adventures you go on next. Much love
OMG - this is SO anxiety inducing.. the big camera, the short skirt, the foreigner on her own, & the spot you picked to sit and eat... goodness me girl.. you must have horse shoes up your a$$! I am Canadian and have lived in the city for 12 years and have braved areas like Iztapalapa and Tepito etc alone... but not drawing so much attention to myself. I DO NOT recommend ppl do this.. this girl was lucky!
anything can happen in few minutes, any woman can even be kidnapped in less than 5 minutes it can happen so fast and who's gonna help?, not good to test ur luck like that..
Nah sorry I can't stand youtubers presenting places like this as "oh I went there and ended up being okay" because then the next person who thinks they can go there and be fine ends up fucking dying or worse.
Hey, but it's not dangerous in Tepito it's a fun place to go on Sundays with family and friends to eat, drink shop, and post it up Facebook. We love visitors. I'm sorry for al the trash, but that gets picked up at midnight every day. You're welcome to my country anytime 🇲🇽🪅
Me and my superstitious self would have abandoned my plans after the van broke down! I would have definitely seen that as a bad sign lol. Hope you're safe anyway x
I just like to live by this quote “ let your smile change the world but don’t let the world change your smile “ . There has been more than enough bad things happening to me and my life and I think I have a good awareness of how much bad is happening too. ☺️
Good story and well done. But certainly not easy to do this all alone and all at once:: filming, talking, keeping a good eye on the surroundings (and the camera), not stepping into some shit - and not getting lost. Too risky? Having gone through many really difficult experiences, and after being on the road for years (solo and in challenging places), Susi has developed better survival insinct than most people can imagine. Travelling is the best school there is, travelling and living the way she does is high end education. She knows what she's doing, and she's got fine antennas. And a great sense of humour!
Loving the content. I see lots of comments worrying for her but you can’t live your life in fear. Yes the city is dangerous but I’m confident Susi knows how to handle herself. She’s seeing the world, different cultures, and showing us things people may never see.
No one is asking her to live in fear, they’re just worried for her safety & that means they care about her… that’s a blessing & something to be grateful for.
Well I'm sure there are a lot of places that take on a whole new level of dangerous at night. I'm super glad you didn't test that theory! Stay safe, although you like to push the limits lol :-)))))))))
Yes, the stereotype for "dangerous" would be Tepito, but it is basically just pick-pocket type crime. I have never had any problem there, I just put my wallet in my front pocket. More murders and real violence, would be towards the north/northeast side Ciudad Nezahuacoyotl towards Ecatepec) But, of course, the real criminals that steal and impoverish the population are on the west side of the city (Lomas de Chapultepec, Polanco etc...)
Hey Susi, I know you're all about Van life but do you think maybe you'll do abit of Island Hopping, so many gorgeous Islands in the world, would be nice to see you living an Island girl life. Hope you do it soon 😊
He called you Gringa because you're a foreigner... and no one would guess you were from Germany, and throughout your video, there are fellow tourists. 😃
I bought a farm in Portugal that you can come and live on instead of this loss! I feel for you because I too am sad. I travel a lot like you in my mobile home
@@joannawinters6592ok I don’t have to live there. Do you live there? I stayed there for 2 months several times about 5-7 times while visiting my dad. I know it’s not safe. If I said it wasn’t safe I would still get criticized. My dad told me it was bad. I got criticized saying it was safe. I still get criticized saying it’s safe or not. I watched movies about it like sicaro which is based on a true story.
Way ? Way ?I was in love with your content before, but unfortunately now I only see a lost person who doesn’t know what to do! You are sad, Susie. Try to get out of this in a healthy way, not this way!
@@Susicruzz Who told you I can't!!? My dear, I am talking to you about experience. I am a 53-year-old woman, and you have not done a quarter of what I have done in my life! I only sympathized with you because I feel what is inside you, and also because I have more experience and expertise than you. But you are free, this is your life, and one day you will learn on your own that you must provide a feeling of security for yourself for the sake of your mental and physical health.I hope you find what you are looking for one day.
Just be careful with filming people because it is illegal to film people in Mexico and some people may not like it and they can call the police and sue you. Filming people without their permission in Mexico can lead you 6 months in jail. Always ask people if they want to be filmed or better yet make sure you are always on the video. You do look Mexican. 😊 So enjoy your trip.
Watch cars b.s. If you don't give a coin then he will damage your car. If thieves try to steal your car these "watchers," aren't going to do anything. In Braxil we call them flanelinha.
