Where did I say it was only fun if it was modded? In the first 50 seconds charlie only said that was your standard bethesda game, you guys are inferring your own opinions because you think the game isn't fun as it is now.
The graphics are great, especially for an open world sandbox. But 2013? Your either a Console wars Dipshit or just hating for the sake of hate cause there's nothing in 2013 that had these graphics
Charlie, there's crazy good melee modifiers through consumables (aid) for melee, you def wanna check it out. One of them is called red trench (craftable) and gives +40% melee damage and +300 damage resistance for 3m
The mission Charlie was doing at 40:00 I was level 107 with 156 and a half hours play time when I got around to it. He was lv 5… Now obviously I’ve gone off the deep end there, I didn’t even have powers yet… My point is, yes don’t spend that long not doing the main missions but just please take your time people. Charlie was massively ignorant to so many useful game mechanics I noticed as I was watching his play through, these mechanics would’ve left him stumped if he didn’t have ‘chat’ alongside him, obviously there’s Google too, these things mostly have to be learned through playing the game. Back in the day, aside speed runners, people liked to take time with their game, now all people want to do is mission after mission without taking any time aside to strengthen their character, to really get a feel for the game. Once I finally got to the eye to meet Vladimir he mentioned he has a house, which took my intrigue. After speaking I went out to see the place. I was looking around his beautiful house, I went up on the roof, Sarah asked me to speak to her she wanted to talk about Aja. So it was on the roof of a beautiful mansion with the dazzling sun in my face, surrounded by lush green trees panoramically, I grew closer with my companion and got to flirt with her for the first time. Whereas other players would’ve already completed 3 missions for Vlad in that time, people just need to slow down and enjoy the game. Personally once I’ve completed the story of any game, I find it really difficult to want to play anymore yet I want my money’s worth so I always play games at a slower pace and it always pays off 😊 PS sorry if you had to read all of this, you are a real one and remember just take it slowly! 🙌
For real thought People gotta slow down. I enjoyed maxing out my outpost skill tree and really going heavy in cargo links and automation. I've never played a Bethesda aor any game like this where I really learn shit. It's so satisfying and I even got all achievements
I think taking your time is good and all, but you should also be able to get through the main questline without feeling lost every thirty seconds. The game should teach you important mechanics organically, or those mechanics shouldn’t be important.

I see what you’re saying and I agree with you for myself personally, but I know older gamers, before the internet, knee deep in manuals would tell you part of the fun of the game is not knowing what to do and learning as you play. So I see it from both sides but yeah I don’t have to patience to play a game that doesn’t tell me where the next objective is. I’m a product of my environment lol.

@@konradcurze8176 I don’t care about ign, I look at prominent reviewers who are more trustworthy like ACG, Mortismal gaming and GmanLives, who all genuinely like the game. Someone complementing a part of the game isn’t cope, it is genuine. I enjoyed the city of Neon as well. Many people on the internet try to take away from people’s enjoyment by responding with crap like “sounds like cope” when someone simply likes the game. It’s lame as hell

He didn’t really say the game was boring, he was just saying it was all the hype that a lot of people were putting on it. He had a hard time getting into it, but he said many times that he understands why people like the game and he understands that a lot of people would really enjoy it, if they enjoy Bethesda games.
I am trying so hard to get into this game. I have a 5 or 6 hours into it. I spend more time in the menus than I do playing the game. Warp here for 5 minutes on a planet I don't care about. Than back to the menus and warp somewhere else. I'm going to keep trudging along and might just quit and play fallout 4
The game looks fine yet interesting in some parts; however, there are a few flaws that I don't like or that confuse me. Also, can Charlie stop saying, "The game is fine", over and over again? I know that the chat wants to know if the game is good or even worth it, but it's kind of getting annoying.
I know this is a controversial opinion but I genuinely fell in love with starfield. It definitely has me more hooked than anything after fallout4 from BGS. To be honest I even feel like the only reason I would consider fallout 3/NV and Skyrim to be superior is only because of nostalgia. I think if starfield came out at the same time as those other games and when I was that young, I would 100% think Starfield is the best of the three franchises. This is very much personal opinion but I think Starfield IS definitely one of the best games I have ever played regardless of this "Over Hype vs Hate " war going on right now. Hate it if you want, for me it is the perfect game so far (90 hours in)
I’ve loved Bethesda since Morrowind but even with those rose-tinted glasses this game still seems painfully slow and dull. Basically just No Man’s Sky filled with basic RPG elements and the same amount of misguided hype. I get how they were going for a bit of realism here, but they sorta threw the baby out with the bath water on this one. 😅
I’ve been having a lot of fun with it 35 hours deep but I do understand how it would be boring certin players but it’s right up there with fallout 4 and Skyrim and I haven’t even came close to seeing everything in the game yet people complain about loading screens but if you aren’t speed rushing through everything you’ll find that the planet your on has alot of extra side quest cool goofy npcs funny little random events and you’ll spend alot of time there making the loading screens happen way less often these types of games aren’t for some people

Think it's an amazing game, 34 hours in the game now and only 12% through the main story since I actually do side quests first and other missions besides the given route you can branch off from. Good job Bethesda. Not as boring, buggy and repeated like nms letting me actually travel, enjoy the graphics, and interact with anything that i dont have to learn an alien language to understand. and not really as lacking as fallout 76 with its micro transactions, op weapon selling market that dupes and sells new players weapons that one tap even the wendigo Colossus, shitty community and bugs that could brick my console. Enjoyed my purchase personally think its a 9/10 beats all the games ive played in the past 5 years besides elden, outter worlds and blasphemous 2
The problem with a lot of starfield reviews is that so many people expected this to be something that it never even remotely promised to be. Everyone just decided it was gonna be a massive space sim rpg, basically no man’s sky mixed with Skyrim. With that incredibly ambitious idea in mind, of course this was going to be disappointing. I will say though, that the dialogue in this game is really bad. Some of the voiced dialogue is shockingly stilted and amateurish.
Todd and Pete Hines made direct comparisons to No Man's Sky and even the latest trailers being shown to hype people for launch emphasize its element of exploration more than anything RPG related.

I bought a new Xbox to play starfield I’m enjoying the experience, yea it has bugs but that doesn’t inhibit my experience. I know pc players have a different perspective but they’re going to get to play it with different mods than I’m currently experiencing but so far I think this is the best game this year. I doubt If gta 6 could compete but we’ll see ig
I think this game is good, but it’s definitely not best game. This is a solid 7-8/10 while Baldurs Gate, Spider-Man 2, and others were at like an 8-9/10. I think if they kept this game for another couple years or if they didn’t have so much fluff, the game would be a 9/10.
What games do yall play? these comments seem so entitled its mind numbing. Ive never seen any trailers for this game, however, it seems really interesting. As a Bethesda game the replayability is probably great, given the character customization and builds. Not to mention the modding communities support. Of course thats not NECESSARY, its simply a staple in Bethesda games. Mod support plays a huge factor whether you agree or not. I don't know, just kind of irks me that people are so quick to diminish a game because it isn't exactly what they wanted. You cant please everyone, however with support from the community and potential for future expansions this game seems limitless.
Yeah, I'm really hyped to play this one day. The world and the possibilities look endless. I think most people are disappointed about the combat gameplay specifically, which isn't special compared to modern triple A titles, but I don't think that's the ambition of the game. I just need to save up for a PC to run it

Personally i can't stand Sam he gives me the impression hes a creeper. Lol COD and toxicity filters the game its self is toxic they need to filter it out of existence them maybe we can bring back a decent fps genre.
