It's hard to imagine, because D1 wrestlers are usually wrestling other D1 wrestlers. You can see the difference is night and day here.

It’s much more significant these days. Back when I wrestled for a very mid - lower tier D1 school 30 years ago, the differential was much smaller. After title 9 forced so many smaller D1 schools to remove wrestling, the differential has become huge. It’s now rare for a 1 time state champ to get a D1 ride. At this point, it usually takes multiple state champions along with high placement in the tough tournaments, ie Walsh Ironman, etc. I would have wrestled D2 like Cayden if i was wrestling these days.

This was a greta video to watch, makes me even more hyped to train harder to try and wrestle one of these guys. I just came back from a weekend long tournament and it was my first time wrestling varsity high school matches, but I went 4-3, and guys like Beau and RBY were my inspiration

The thing I appreciate about Cayden is that while Beau is a far better wrestler, cayden still has beau’s respect because the grind behind content creation and the work Cayden put’s in on and off the mat is admirable. Keep up the grind! 💪

Another great video. Done really well. It's makes you feel like you are like you are right there in the room. Beau Bartlett has grown on me. Now that he is at his best weight. He mentioned he studies wrestling and he is a mimic. That showed when he imitated RBY.

Beau has incredible speed and agility. Cayden you looked like you didn’t know what to expect next from him. You tried going on offense and you acted with counters. But again you were the man handling all with grace and sportsmanship. And the laughter between you and Beau showed the respect you have for one another and you let it all hang out and stay loose💪💯🤼🙏.

Do you know the big thing too? Is in Jujitsu like you throw them down they’re gonna turn into that but if you control that arm on the outside, when you go down, you can’t turn into you and you can come and cross over the top and that’s Jujitsu but you can work it in Wrestling and then he’ll be on his back or on his belly because he falls down on his arm.
