LOL I actually hated my Cambly video, I thought it was soo basic. I just had a dresser room divider behind me. No effects. But I applied for the adults side of the site. Now my video is highly edited with sound fx and the students love it. 🤷🏽
My video just got rejected. I am so glad that I watched this because I know the problem now. I totally over-edited it. Do you know how long it takes for them to review a new video once you submit it again?
My application it's still under review since January so I'm not sure what might be the problem with my application....how can I enquire about my application??
I wish I could help you more, but I do have a couple of questions. How far in the application process did you get? Has Cambly emailed you any updates during this time?

So even for Cambly Kids, don't worry about any editing? Or do you mean just for the regular Cambly? My first video did pass and I'm hired, but I wanted to jazz it up a bit. I sat in front of my kid decorated background and used a few actual props, but wanted to add some fun emoji's and a few words here and there with editing. Would you suggest to just leave it? I want it to be as appealing to parents as possible! Then I also wondered, do I need to make a separate video for the regular Cambly profile, so that way it's not too kid directed if adults are looking at it in search of a tutor? If you re-upload a video, do they check it again? So far, it looks like you can just change it whenever, but I'm a little hesitant. I just changed it from my edited version back to my original after watching your video lol. Thanks!
If your first video got you hired, then I would use it for Cambly Kids, too. I was trying to make mine more kid-friendly, too, but that's what they turned down. When I submitted the video that I have for Cambly Classic (adults) to Cambly Kids, they accepted it. Good luck!
Could you help me figure out why I haven't been accepted yet? All they just say is they are getting a lot of applications and as they grow they will reach out and tell me what I need to do to get hired. Should I email them?

So, there were two videos that I had to submit. The first one was my teaching demo and I submitted that with my application. This video was to introduce myself to potential students, so I did this one after I was hired. It has been awhile since I made this video, so I’m sure you’re correct, that things have changed.
