Here we go! Baby boy is almost ready to make his appearance in the world 🌈🤍 Been pregnant before or going through it now? I want to hear all about what your third trimester experience!!
I loved this video! I'm currently 39w4days and that last line got me. We're expecting our first baby girl any day now. My pregnancy has been very easy but I felt the most back/hip pain between 28-32 weeks. My biggest issue now is I can't lay on my side for more than a couple of hours without being on pain, which means constantly getting up at night but I'm able to take naps as needed. Can't wait for your first video with your little one! Hopefully I can watch it with my daughter here🥹
Got teary-eyed at the end! Everything women go through to bring new people into the world is so impressive, and yet the main thought through it all is meeting baby. What an emotional moment! Thank you for sharing the last few weeks of your pregnancy, it was very informative for me as a hopefully future mum who rarely hears about third trimester madness😅🥰
I am an emotional wreck watching these videos. 😂You're taking me back to when I was pregnant with my son, who just turned 17 yesterday. Thinking about him being a senior in high school, knowing he has grown up so quickly has me in my feels! I'm excited to watch the next part of your journey having your baby boy! Thank you for sharing! ❤
I don’t know why but all of your pregnancy/baby videos I’ve just really enjoyed and they kinda make me emotional as I can remember feeling and going through all these things with my first over 5 years ago! I had my fourth baby (and probably last) 6 months ago and I just feel all sorts of emotions. It goes by so fast. Like lightning. What a treasure for you to have these videos!
So beautiful during such an extraordinary time in a woman’s life. To bring a baby into the world is incredible and thanks for opening up your world with us. I feel like I’m your Dutch uncle!
Ashlynne, I love watching your videos! They are just so calming and peaceful and you do an amazing job putting them together. My husband and I also live in Charlotte (Steele Creek area) and "recently" welcomed a now 18 month old little guy. I notice so many familiar places in your videos and believe we also visit the same OB/Midwife office. Your vlogs are sweet reminders of what things were like with our first and I definitely empathize with you in your 3rd trimester joys/challenges. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Oliver is so precious and I wish you and Christopher all the best! ❤
The baby shower looked fabulous, and when you walked in, I had happy, watery eyes. Your friends are so caring. The stay in the mountains looked very romantic and picturesque. More watery eyes hearing the ultrasound. Thank you very much for sharing this journey. ❤❤
Hi Ashlynne! I’m from Hungary very far away…. I just found your channel in my 35 week and I’m so grateful😊 i love watching your preparing and organising baby stuffs while I’m doing the same 😃 A lot of things work totally different here like doctors appointments and examinations. Anyway i love your chilled vibes and positivity thats what we need during these last weeks of pregnancy 😊😊
The timing of this video is crazy. I’m at 29 weeks and I saw my doctor this morning, and she did the exact same thing of measuring my belly. Thank you for sharing your third trimester journey. The ending made me tear up a lot because you looked like you were in so much pain. I’m scared 😱
Aww congratulations!! And yes, I tried to remind myself of that. But now with a little baby in the world, it’s a lot easier to look at his sweet little face when I’m sleepless than just to stare at the ceiling like I did when I was pregnant 🤣🤣
Oh I just love everything about this video. Thank you for being so honest and raw with us. You have been so positive and productive throughout your pregnancy but it’s also so validating to see and hear about your challenges as well. The last clip made me tear up 🥲 I hope you have been loving every moment with your baby boy!
I feel you so much on the sleep! I’m almost 35 weeks, I hurt, I can’t sleep, I’m uncomfortable all the time. It’s rough but I’m excited for him to be here ❤
The sleep quality of end of pregnancy compared to newborn life is not alike! I slept so terribly end of pregnancy, constantly peeing, uncomfortable, insomnia- but the second baby was born I could just pass out as soon as I got the opportunity, it was more interrupted for sure, waking to every little squeak, but its so much easier to fall asleep again 😂 I was also so high on oxytocin once baby was around, they are very different seasons, no need to feel bad for not 100% loving everything about end of pregnancy.
I agree it's harder when you're pregnant!! I had instant relief in my back after the birth and I slept SO WELL that first night on my back 😂. But in a way the crappy pregnancy sleep helps you wake up easier to feed the baby in the wee hours.
Hey Ashlynne! I’m in my week 36 right now and it is rough. I wake up just about every hour, but the way I look at it, it’s my body’s way of preparing me to wake up and take care of my baby girl. It still definitely sucks though thinking about the season of no sleep that I’m about to go into 😂 anyways, you’ve probably already given birth at this point so I hope you had smooth labor and you and baby are healthy. ❤️
Love that perspective!! 🤍 Although being on the other side of it now, I standby what I said in this video. It’s harder during pregnancy because you don’t have a little baby you can look at that explains the reason for your sleeplessness 😅
You did a great job through a pretty typical third trimester. Can't wait to see how the hospital experience went. Hope you're enjoying everything and getting as much rest as possible with the little one.
