I FINALLY GOT THE COMBO: King Of Fighters XIII - Online Matches 

As an SNK fan, I was excited to see Max experience and enjoy KOF13.

It wasn't his first time playing the game. He just had not played it in years.

@@starbreaker269 He originally thought the game was trash and wasn't worth getting into because the console netplay was bad, he wasn't a SNK fanboy at the time (he was Capcom only), and the community was niche. Basically the same reason why he hates UNIST.

This game IS indeed, that good. I own it for all three platforms.🤣👍

And in KOF 94 and 95 she also gets her clothes tattered along with Yuri didnt realized this game made it come back

@@tamashiieater1889 The Art of Fighting games had clothing damage, if I'm remembering correctly, so when you'd KO a character they'd have tattered clothes.

But they didn't bring the face damage back. It make a fighting game looks real.

@@alejandromomota6934 while that may be possibly true, I'll say that when I started to main Terry I wasn't much into fighting games at all, but playing him actually inspired me to get more into fighting games! Now GGXrd is one of my favorite games, and I didn't even get into it until after I started playing Terry in smash.

I really like Kensou in 98 and 02 as well. Certain moves I miss him having, even his EX form in 02, but I agree his XIII iteration is very good, and my favorite in that game.

In terms of strength 99 was his best iteration, he was god tier in that one due to him having infinites and a infinite blockstring with cl.D dp.A looped.

It's wacky. Since the Steam version came out, SNK hasn't touched this game at all since, not even for a re-release on PS4 and XB1. It's really annoying to me that they haven't when they'll release practically every other game in their library.

I can do most combos that doesn't involve command grabs except maxima's 'cause i love the character because of his armored moves but nailing a full one online is a whole another story. THe point is it's not that hard when you get used to the timing.... PS: i have been playing it on keyboard.

Play the mission Trials again and again if you want to learn quickly

Umm...did he play more than 1 game against that guy? The guy with the king-vice-mature team was as new as Max. It honestly only looked like he played against 1 guy for 1 round that actually had any experience.

It happened since Art of Fighting.

It wasn't originally fanservice. She dates back to a time when there were only a couple other female fighting game characters in existence (Chun Li and Janne from lesser known World Heroes), and her original sprite and voice acting was more androgynous. Her original game also featured lots of mid-match and post-match battle damage, so having her shirt explode if you did the right ending move was a pretty unique way to reveal SNK's first ever female fighter. Since then though, yeah, it's kind of fanservice now. She's much more feminine than she was originally, and they didn't keep the exploding shirt for Ryo, for example. Only the girls from Art of Fighting still have that.

Strange how fanservice shifted in meaning.

It feels a smidge uncomfortable in its implications to me. Kinda wish the fanservice was delivered differently. Oh well.
