I've recently dwelled in the Platinum Trophy community and even nabbed myself a few platinum trophies for the first time. You and a handful of creators have inspired me to go after these achievements that I wouldn't even dare to go before! Definitely will go after Fallen Order too, then go after Survivor once it's available!
I complete this game and got all the achievements just a week ago this game made me watch the Star Wars movie cause this game was so good. I played it 2 years ago in April but I only played half of the story
I want to like this game more than I do. I've tried it a couple of times, and although I admire it when I start it, I always end up falling off, and not finishing it. Something with the combat just hasn't clicked for me. I still want to give it another try. I'm hopeful 3rd time is the charm, and it will finally click for me.
I feel this way with souls games and the Witcher but I love this game. I recommend you start playing again, and once you feel like you wanna quit, keep going for another hour or two and see if you still feel that way
Yeah that just falls under, not every game is for everyone. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to get into The Legend of Zelda but it never clicks!
This was the first game I 100% this year and I can say it's one of the easier ones to do. Never felt annoyed by any of the achievements and I wanted to find everything anyway because I liked the exploration.
@@-wojo-1095 try it with mods. It's 100 times better that way. I suppose Jedi Academy might require some getting used to because it play differently than modern games but once you get the hang of it, it's really amazing. No other Jedi game gives you the same freedom.
Clear is a big call. I prefer Fallen Order but there is so many incredible Star Wars experiences. Jedi Academy, Republic Commando, Battlefront, LEGO Star Wars, KOTOR, The Force Unleashed. I love all these games, but my favourite is Fallen Order
I literally have Vietnam war flashbacks with some of the backtracking in this game. That was just trying to get most of the items not 100% the game. I don't know exactly how to articulate it but the map system is both absolute garbage and great at the same time. I like this game a lot but I've never replayed it for this reason.
I enjoyed the game so much I Platinum'd it on PS4 and am about to Re-Platinum it again on PS5. Then i'm probably going to go for the Platinum for Survivor. I do love my Platinum Trophies!
Haha bro same as. I got everything on it completed bar 4 trophies. After 2 years I decided to download it yesterday and have only two trophies left. Can't wait for jedi survivor because let me you tell you something, the lack of fast travel in this game reminded me WHY I never wanted to 100% it before. It's NOT fun. Thankfully survivor will have that
For me, it took me 25 to 29 hours to have platinum. The first time was like normal difficulty and then the second on the hardest difficulty. Now that Survivor is getting closer I am tempted to walkthrough it a third time. 👀
Honestly I think Zeffo is better than Dathomir or Kashyyk. Sure, it’s absolutely massive, but it isn’t as absolute irritating in terms of enemy encounters when compared to Dathomir, and it’s not as linear as either of the other two. With a collectible guide I find it to be decent, especially because a big chunk of it is really cool optional content you might not see otherwise. Probably helps that I almost got everything from the tombs the first time around when I was playing without 100% as my intent before coming back a year later lol
I had no issue with Dathomir. Wasn't a massive plan of the planet itself but Zeffo is just too much. The enemies are easier but the map design and the map interface are dreadful here
I love the idea of platinum hunting and really enjoy the feeling of getting them but just struggle with the grind at times. just feels like I let other things slide to find time to play games. the fun of adulting. Your content scratches the itch and is so well put together. keep it up dude. your dedication to the grind is inspirational.
OMG Zeffo was so aids to 100%. This game was a huge part in my platinum addiction, it started with the spiderman games, gow ragnarok, jedi fallen order, gow, ty the tasmanian tiger, and im currently working on my final spyro reignited platinum.

The best Star Wars game(s) are Jedi Knight Outcast/Academy. FO is a good game. Very satisfying. And it does Star Wars well, in story and atmosphere. Magnitudes better than the travesties of the Disney films/shows. But simply put, its combat systems are a simplified, easier Sekiro/Souls combat. It does this decently and satisfyingly as well, but it's a Star Wars skin over those existing mechanics. It looks cool with its Star Wars skin but mechanically it's Sekiro-lite. Jedi Knight Outcast/Academy do all the Star Wars storytelling/atmosphere as well or better than FO. But they also create a truly unique saber combat system that actually feels like Jedi combat. They are the best Star Wars games and deserve their own current day sequel. I urge everyone to try them out if you love Star Wars and crave Jedi combat in them.
Hahaha you literally had the same experience as me I originally played the game on Xbox then gave up on 100% cause I also hate playing games after the story, then I recently platniumed it on ps5 just so I could have it before survivor came out, I even tried the slowing tongue with the bogdos too instead of pulling the tongue out. Idk I just thought all these coincidences were cool.
Having to work and small free time , i got really unmotivated to do this one. It's nice seeing other people to do it but damn this is some of the worst backtracking in video game history. The game and the combat itself is a 10/10 tho! Can't wait for the new one. Survivor will have some sort of fast travel tho , so that's good.
The backtracking is tedious but nowhere near the worst I've experienced. It's a common practice in the metroidvania genre but not my favourite element. Can't wait for Survivor!
Platinuming games can be a grind. I'm close to platinuming Assassins Creed Valhalla (just Siege of Paris dlc trophies left) and it's so far the longest game I've tried to platimum.
It's funny how people have totally different views on collecting in games. I had an absolute blast getting 100% in all the areas. I plan to platinum the game again now that I have the PS5 version
I know people who love it, me personally I don't hate collecting in games but they can be excessive and usually they aren't executed as well as they could be. They feel like menial tasks more often than not. Here though, not bad. The level and map design is more my issue in this game
I started to climb the Origin tree to scan the fk monkey. When I was almost there, I saw the Shyo bird and thought it would give me a lift the last bit to the top.... I was wrong and had to start the climb all over again..

I did the same thing with the origin tree. I missed something or other and was searching for it for hours. I got my platinum a while back now though, and have done about five play-throughs.
It's a good question. I think the exclusives are usually incredible but what I'd say is if you see multiple games that peak your interest then it's worth it. If not, then wait for that to happen!

I love Zeffo. It's very easy to traverse, and has a perfect combination of Imperial installations and Zeffo monuments to explore. Exploring the mystery of the crashed Venator and the two Jedi that died there is probably my favorite part of exploration in the game.
10:06 Bro the same thing happened to me as well. I tried to backtrack but I couldn't meaning I had to go in a circle to grab that last chest because of the terrible map design and lack of fast travel. Hope RESPAWN ENTERTAINMENT puts those criticisms into their notes
I enjoyed this game a lot. I hated that we were forced to wear the poncho and that Cal ran like he had a diaper full of shit that he refused to change 😅 also really hated the facial animations with certain characters. Those few issues aside, this was the best Star Wars game since The Force Unleashed(I don't think anything will top those).

I am going through this game’s platinum too and my most annoying thing to collect is by far the logs Chests, Secrets no problem If they weren’t a trophy I wouldn’t be getting them at all Edit: just got the platinum so no more worries 😁
Another great video, I’m about to get ps+ extra and have a bunch of games to platinum, watching you get a few of them helps to find which of the games could be interesting. Also if it lands on rdr make sure to play the second game as it’s the prequel. Keep up the good work!

@@MayorHairBear oh yeah true, I forgot online was part of the platinum and it’s definitely dying but still probably a pretty fun experience. I’ve played rdr1 and have to say it was just as good as the 2nd game and becomes really nostalgic
Got the game on release. I gave up mid way. Four and a half years later and I finally beat the game on PS5. Not only that but I also had all the collectibles in my first run. It was quite a ride. Enjoyed the game’s story but gameplay was so meh I prefer older titles. Some of the climbing was cool especially the cinematic in Kashyyyk’s introduction.
That's how I do it when I played fallen order when the credits role I got the platinum in a single playthrough I go to bogano 3 times, illum once, Zeffo 3 times, Dathomir twice due to story. Kashyykk twice. I just go with the story and complete everything. By the time I get to dathomir kashyykk, Bogano 100% done and illum was done. Helps to know the maps inside out. Platimuned this game 3 times twice on ps4 and once on the ps5 (native version)
I platinumed Fallen Order on ps4 when it released in 2019 and then a few weeks ago paltinumed the Ps5 version, both times on Grandmaster diffiiculy and both times i had non stop fun, im so hyped for Jedi Survivor

Looks like Survivor is going to be less of a grind with it having fast travel to any unlocked Meditation point AND no trophies for 100% exploration or chests it seems.

I was working on this I only had the last plant and 2 chest left but I had no way to zip line down to get the last two chest idk what I did wrong but now I have to start all over? Anyone else have this issue
