Thanks for the comment! I hope it doesn’t come that way at all because I love strong female characters especially ones with a lot more depth and actual character development. I don’t like the modern day spin on gaming and movies (marvel especially). I feel like they skip the character development and making an amazing story in the excuse they are a strong female character. Especially with the modern day narrative… Characters I love in gaming Ellie, love her as a character, Aloy was a very cool character! I love Aerith, Tifa, looking forward to Stellar blade, Lara Croft, Sadie from Red Dead 2 is a badass! Hope this clears things up 😃🙏

Just wait until you get into Rebirth. I’m 85% through it and it’s a lot of fun. I played the original on the ps1 when I was in high school in ‘97. I never finished it though, just got to the point where Rebirth will end. Curious to see how they will handle that famous plot point. Make sure you play the Intergrade DLC after you finish remake. You’ll love that da-chao bean munching Yufi.

Final Fantasy 7 remake is a lot of fun, but Rebirth improves upon everything SQUARE ENIX already created in remake. You should definitely play Rebirth right after you’re done with remake Newtro!

I have looked a lot into it and many people recommend playing Rebirth first and then Crisis Core, because Crisis Core is predicated on knowing the whole FF7 story (original ps1 game). This means you will be spoiled big story beats for FF7 Rebirth and the 3rd game if you play Crisis Core first!

Be sure to play the FF7 Remake Intermission missions, its about 5 hrs but introduces a new character that will be then fleshed out in Rebirth! (Comes free with the PS5 version)

Just go for rebirth, you’ll love it more than remake. Getting remake’s platinum is kind of a grind but you’ll get it quickly if you play it correctly, look for the 9 dresses guide you don’t waste time, greetings from Mexico!

So glad you played this one! FF7 Remake was my first FF game as well. My wife is a huge FF fan and I bought the game for her birthday. After watching her play for awhile I decided to give it a go and fell in love with the whole thing. I'm like you, if I like a game I want to see everything it has to offer and I can overlook some of the negatives and have fun with it. Currently about 70 hours into Rebirth (half way. lol) and it's even better! Cheers!

The game DID tell you about access material! That was the whole point of chadly! He asked you to use it on enemies so he can learn their weakness and develop new material and vr combats for you. Seems you were daydreaming about barret when this was announced.

I suggest playing crisis core first before rebirth. And I'd actually recommend the OG one over the "reunion" but whichever you prefer is fine. But for me, OG is better. You'd understand and be immersed into the story more if you've played CC before rebirth imo. The feeling of seeing Zack alive after OG CC is just so unexplainably good.

@@LoveGamingNewtro Definitely a great buy. You'll soon see how interesting of a character Zack is. His story is, imo, better than Cloud's. Just a bit of a downside, his VA in reunion is a big downgrade from Zack's "real" OG VA. But, his story's the main thing about CC so I hope it covers the newbie performance of the VA when you do your playthrough. Here's me hoping that you enjoy my recommendation. 🙌

Yeah remake is great! Rebirth is good but the side content is a snooze. It really affects the pacing for me. Still worth going into it as the main story is great!
