Yeah, this series gets REALLY raw. This series is very medieval as it goes forward, from the combat to the politics and the music with its heavy usage of Spanish guitar and string instruments.

The first season is pretty good, and I can see why some fans will think that this is one of the best Gundam shows. I hope that you will enjoy this show.

Remember guys, IBO is a 3 episode short animation. It's *DEFINATLY NOT* a 50 episode long animation.

I've only watched IBO last year after repeated reminders from my Nephew and Cousin who rated this Gundam series their Top Animes of all time and I concur.

Gundam Barbatos was in the underground chamber and linked by several cables because it was used as a power generator for the entire base.

First season was great. Second season good on first watch, but it starts to seem very silly on after thoughts and rewatches.

HOLY SHIT IT'S HAPPENING IBO is maybe my favorite AU Gundam. Season 1 is definitely better than season 2 (sadly true of every single Gundam outing in this cursed two season format), but the series overall is still very good. I always say that the best AU Gundam outings are the ones that do something distinct from the best of UC Gundam, so it has something unique to offer that you aren't going to get elsewhere in the franchise. I think 00 and IBO really earn their keep on that metric. I hope you like it. At the very least, the first season is pretty damn near watertight.

@@GundamExplained Ah that's right. Definitely take your time enjoying IBO. It is a bit more 'raw' than what we typically see with a Gundam series. You'll know what I mean when you see it.

IBO is my favorite gundam show.. I fell nostalgic back when it first aired.. I always stay away from the net to avoid spoilers every episode cus this show is really unpredictable at times.
