I don't mean to be rude, but invaluable actually means very valuable. As in you can't value (put a price on) it. Kinda how priceless means it's worth so much you literally can't price it.

i remember reading a drum forum thread around a decade ago about how terrible those zildjian pitch black cymbals were. happy to see somebody finally get some use out of one
@@United_Kangaroo1992 pitch black were a series of cymbals zildjian made which I believe went on sale in 2008 and were discontinued by 2010. they came with the black paint on them from the factory. not sure if you’re seeing something I’m not but that looks like a real zildjian pitch black 18” china (although a lot of the paint has come off)

Are you telling me that Zildjian, the 400 year old cymbal making company, legit just spray-painted a whole series of cymbals and sold them for money Zildjian, in their infinite wisdom, did a mod that I could do for a couple bucks extra and a Saturday afternoon which would hella decrease the resale value because it wrecks the natural tone of the cymbal and the next owner of it would have to use either extreme abrasives or extreme drumming to get rid of; and they saw that as a potential selling point? God we need to see Wade make a vid on that cymbal
