This is the last update on my build of the Marie-Jeanne ship, by ‪@artesanialatina1970‬ , After more than 200 hours the model is finally complete and in this video, I will share some impressions about the model itself and some of the issues I have found.

You have done a fabulous job of it, some people love all the brass but you can get burnishing fluid which will turn it black. you're best painting metal either with enamel or using a primer first. I think she looks stunning.

Yeah I didn't have that. I tried with vinegar + salt but it didn't work and for such a small piece I gave up. Thank you!

That's really beautiful work, man and thanks for sharing. I have this kit sitting on the shelf and I'm working up to it. With the strings, I have a block of beeswax and I pull the string through it a few times. It seems to do really well locking the hairs down.

I did not get any instructions, it was a DVD, i don't iave a player. I expected hardwoods. Not white that needed to be stained, very poor
