I Finished Japanese From Zero Book 1 and 2 | My Review So Far 

I have used book 1-4 since 2014. I will be using book 5 pretty soon. I have watch Mr. Trombley’s JFZ videos from 1- 106. I am able to speak it, understand it, write it and read it. I also watch Japanese News 24 now, and I am able to understand a lot. The Japanese language is easier to learn if you speak a ‘latin’ or ‘romance’ language, for example Spanish or Italian, for Japanese syllabary is pronounce similar. For example: Kami, Neko , Inu, gohan, kino, yasui, etc. Good luck.

I studied all through 2020 while indoors do to ‘you know what’.

I just ordered book 1 and it gets here tomorrow but i was wondering, if i do all 5 how much japanese would i be able to use? cause right now i want to be able to kinda just have a casual conversation in Japanese and then try to become fluent even if it means id have to move on to different books after this series of books .

Great review. I was debating whether to purchase this because There is also a Hiragana from Zero book and a katakana from Zero book. So i was confused on whether or not Japanese from Zero book actually taught all hiragana and katakana. It seems so. Thank you. should i purchase all three?

I don't like to mention JLPT but where are scale does JFZ take you? I swear you're right about TK needs to be taught on RU-vid both in Japanese and in English. Every time I see one of your videos, I become more convinced never to study an Asiatic language with the exception of maybe Indonesian. In the amount of time it takes to learn one, you can pick up at least 3 to 4 other languages. I always thought the Slavic languages were difficult, but I’m studying Bulgarian, and compared to Japanese, it’s cake.
