It's so cool flying along! I enjoy both takeoffs and landings, but that one in College Station, where I've got a PhD in Entomology in 1995 (Gig 'em Aggs!) with that 100 dollars burger was superb! Take lots of care and fly safe!

A good girlfriend of mine that gave me lots of hours of dual time is a double I. First time her and I flew together she took me to the deck. She has tons of ratings and flies for FedEx now. She was an Ag pilot that was the craziest ride I ever took. Holy cow I was like watch out for the power lines. She was all cool and calm, and said you aim for the poles because you know how high they are. Never fly between the poles. We went to a few flyins together. She knows pretty much all of the RU-vidrs and flying cowboys. You may have even met her. Kool kat. Bummer we didn't work out.

Great video! Back in the 70’s My dad had a single engine Piper Comanche for several years and sold it and later bought a 1963 twin engine Comanche which was amazing. I’m 53 years old now and crazy enough I’m starting ground school tomorrow. I’m enjoying your videos! I live in Katy, so maybe I’ll see you up in the air sometime haha!

Nice video! Rare to get 11/29 here at KCLL. They typically use 17/35 for pretty much all ops. Although I think they start the second phase of the taxiway construction tomorrow 1/13/23, so things will be weird for a while. Glad to see you visit us here in Aggieland!

Kay, you already have some 1,200 hours of flying experience. You clearly enjoy flying. Once you get 1,500 hours, you should apply to the regional airlines. You will get hired for several reasons, 1) you are a woman (minority), 2) you are qualified, and 3) you are young (25) and enjoy flying and would probably fly even if you weren't getting paid to do it. 🤗😘😛

Fly to Vero Beach, FL and do a video of you touring the Piper factory to see the new Cherokee Warriors being built. There was and old lady that lived there, she had a themed Warrior named “Shatzy” with red lips and eyelashes on the front.

I enjoy watching your vidioes😊 and it's easy to tell that you love flying. Couple questions: I've noticed that you lean the mixture to get the best burn on fuel but is it possible to stall the engine with mixture too lean or flood the carberator and stall with too much mixture? Are there limit stops on the mixture control? Also when you come in for landings I noticed you put a lot of input on the yoke and can't help but wonder is difficult to have a controlled landing without busting your butt or destroying the landing gear. You seem to land well every time!😅

Obviously very skilful at what you do. Are you anywhere near the Tesla Gigafactory or McGregor? Very professional. Love it.

Hi Kay, could you make a video on your next flight how long it takes you from door to door (leaving your house to your hotel at your destination) and then go on Google maps and see how long the journey would take in a car? To see which is the fastest.

Good to go instruments when going cross country. So many airports close together with similar runway alignment. If not familiar with area might line up to land at wrong airport….I did that once. Embarrassing. Was told by an old continental airline captain his airline did that to make sure you identify the airport properly. He told me of another airline that tried to land at GYH instead of GHP. He was catching a ride back on the jump seat for free and watched it unfold. Told the captain he was lining up at wrong airport 😮

If I can recommend that you always pull up an approach. If nothing else pull up the visual. It’ll keep you from landing on the wrong runway someday. And once you start flying commercially that’s going to be the procedure.
