Congratulations Kay. You take flying seriously based on your knowledge and attention to detail. You parents raised you right, and should be very proud of your accomplishments.
I love the first video with your new aircraft and it was awesome. Really looking forward for other great videos in your twin S3. Keep up the great job of flying and video content.
I have a passion for flying and currently taking flight school, it’s awesome and i encourage you all to have a safe and fun time flying! You should become a pilot if you want to, nobody will stop you from following your dreams. I’m the youngest student pilot with my first certificate at 16 years :D
You did good in that new planet. You fi was watching you getting that new plane and take it off and I see how you'll level off with the new plane and splain to us, it's explain to us what you did and what you needed to do. I can't wait till you see that new plane in com.Comfortable experience with that new plane. And you'll be happy about flying at new plane.Your old plane is just as good as a newer.Only thing you doesn't have is air conditioner but at least you got heat in there
I only have one question. Why didn't the mechanic, professional aircraft installation people do this to completion, properly and safely? We are generally entering an epoch of stupid, laissez-faire and no one is accountable for anything. It's a dangerous time. Years ago I never thought to pull out my dipstick on my car after a service. After covid I check everything. Twice now lug nuts not torqued to spec. Won't come off, but that doesn't matter. These guys made her turn back on a flight completely through no being focussed and or qualified for the job. That's stuff that can kill. If it was me there would be a whole different conversation with those installers/mechanics than she probably had after getting back. I flew a Cessna 172 in Africa in years gone by- dirt strips, short field landings, dodging potholes, meerkats, buffalo, thunderstorms, landing on grass strips at night with a car with indicators flashing on the threshold,-you name it - for 700 hours. Not once did I doubt my aviation maintenance guys. And never did they fail me. But I had two things that doesn't exist in American training. a) A completely un-woke ex Airforce Major mirage pilot as my instructor. Take that one as you like. We flew that Cessna till I threw up. We practiced it all. Over and over. And if I couldn't get it right, he would not sign off on anything. The 40 hour mark was just a guideline. When I was done I wore that 172 like a cheap suit. I new everything that plane could do. AND not do. b) The age of planes today should be mandated at a maximum. This one is a1968 model. I was 10 years old. Do the math. Much of what is causing our GA to have such an accident rate are one of these two things. BTW, I would fly with this pilot any day and read a book while I am at it.
