The Pokemon World Championships is a celebration of the strongest Pokemon Card Trainers from around the world. Competing all season at events like NAIC and EUIC, chasing their Worlds Invite and the chance to play for the No. 1 Trainer Card.
I wanted to see if I could learn how to play and make it to Worlds in Yokohama, Japan in my first season - it took everything I had, playing against some of the strongest decks the game has ever seen with cards like Radiant Charizard, Lugia VSTAR and the new Gardevoir ex.
These tournaments took me all around the world - meeting players and fans across multiple continents. So after all that work - where did I land?
