MX unleashed, MX vs ATV unleashed had the best soundtrack in all MX games. Sadly it was when 90's punk rock was dieing. Still have all those songs saved on Spotify and listen to them when playing MX Bikes.
I remember being 4 years old and getting this and absolutely grinding this game on keyboard lol. Was constantly on the family computer playing this. I always loved going in freeride and riding to the outside of the map and getting yeeted back to the center. Those were the good ol days
Oh man i remember this game, i was walking down the street one day, and we had a place just open up, and they had a competition running and one of the workers goes hey kid want to enter the comp we're about to start in 5 mins. I'm like sure, didn't know what game i was getting into. And they had this, never played a mx game on console but always played motocross madness 2 on PC. To shorten the story I ended up winning and got an EB games voucher.
Hands down the best mx vs atv game outside of reflex. The 2 moto format was ahead of its time no other game in the PS2 era had that. This game was one of the greatest mx games of all time. Hell even coming back to it in 2022 it stands up well, that shows how great of a game this was
Hello Lynds, I honestly enjoy watching your MX game videos. You even got me into MX Bikes recently (bought it last week) and enjoying it! Cheers. As for MVA Unleashed, this game was IT! If you're playing on PC I can see if I can still find a install of the REV addon for this game on one of my old drives. In short: REV makes everything, including the physics, more realistic. It's a addon my friends and I spend ages on developing in an attempt to bring MVA Unleashed to a new level. Let me know.

Yeah buddy! I been going back and playing MX Unleashed on my old ps2. The first two MX Unleashed games were the best in the series in my opinion. So much nostalgia.
Wowwwww trip down memory lane. As soon as the first track loaded and saw the pier I shot back to a young buck. Unpopular opinion but alive was my favorite. I loved the Stewart tracks and majority of the others on that one. Scrub the hell out of stuff.
What’s it do? I’ve played this game so much that I am basically a pro myself, yet I still don’t know what the difference is, or even which one I use. Oh damn, I just checked and I’m set to Race physics. Can I even call myself good if I don’t use Pro??
I still play this game monthly!! Im glad to say i would smoke lynds atleast on 1 mx game😂 i enjoy mx unleashed more because the tracks are better! But i also found out there is a bunch of tricks you have to set controler presets too to unlock!!
Damn, you just made me want to get MX unleashed. I still play MvA Unleashed and ATV 1 and 2 all the time, but for some reason I skipped that one. The tracks are better how though? I’d probably say the tracks in those two ATV games are “better” than the ones in MvA (especially comparing outdoor tracks), whether because of aesthetics or realism, but MvA’s SX tracks are interesting cuz they’re so technical and have so many combo options, so constantly discovering innovative ways to go faster keeps it fresh. Which side of the line do MXU’s tracks fall on?
