I tried fighting the Wither in bedrock edition. Earlier I made a video about how Minecraft java is way too easy and how insanely easy the wither fight is. Many people in the comments said I should try bedrock, so I did!

And it was nerfed on bedrock, before it used to basacally kill you if it trew one head at you, even if you had prot 4 diamond armor. Now the biggest problems are the explosion and the Wither skeletons that spawn

wither in bedrock: Health: Easy: 300 (150) Normal: 450 (225) Hard: 600 (300) Upon noticing a player or mob, the wither flies to a random location and hovers in place. It shoots 3 black wither skulls and one blue wither skull before flying to another location. At half health, it causes a large explosion that spawns 3 wither skeletons (except on Easy difficulty), as well as gaining wither armor. Instead of flying to a random location, it dashes toward its target, destroying blocks and damaging mobs in its path. Fun fact: The regeneration in Bedrock took way longer than in Java. And mobs, also the bosses (Wither and Ender dragon) will act differently depending on the difficulty you're playing.

The wither on our realm killed us all. For a long time in the chunk where the old neighborhood was at had the darkness over it for months. I finally said the hell with it and single handedly took it on and claimed the hollowed lava ruin of a cave as my lair. I am a hero on the realm.

The Java wither is not only a lot lamer and has way less attacks and mechanics to it, but it also has half the amount of HP as the Bedrock one has… I seriously don’t know why they haven’t updated the Java Wither to be like this as well, it feels like an old outdated Wither in comparison, this is the only thing Bedrock edition did right

I don't think Java could get this one. The Java version is coded in Java, which isn't very fast or stable. The Bedrock edition is coded in C++, which is probably the best game coding software around, with RUST being a 2nd.

I tried that tunnel thing. It dug itself out and destroyed my base, the nearby village, my farms, killed my animals, and pretty much put an end to a fun survival world that I liked.

The wither is how I ended up losing one of my minecraft worlds on console. Spawned the wither underground and it broke so many blocks that I'd run at 15 or less frames. I was never able to kill it

He spawns wither skeletons, gives wither effect that lasts longer depending on the game difficulty, and, on most platforms, will lag the game out with the amount of blocks dropped from the explosions. The easiest way on bedrock is with frost walker in the ocean with lingering potions of healing

I fought the wither in bedrock a while back with maxed gear, but it just wrecked the ground and was way to OP. The best start is to probably spawn it above ground. I fought the java wither today with protection 4 diamond armour and killed it in 10 seconds with my Smite 5 sword. (Getting the wither skeletons heads were the hardest part, took like 3 hours with looting 3) Its very interesting how they differ.

The hard difficulty Bedrock Wither's behavior is actually very different! When it reaches half health, a massive explosion occurs and spawns 3 wither skeletons. And it gains an exclusive dash ability, destroying everything in its path, and dealing 7 and a half hearts of damage. (15 hp of damage)

Also, the wither has a dash attack on bedrock where he looks downward and zooms forward. That’s probably what kept insta-killing you as it does more than enough to one shot full iron.

Tip: you can bring splash potion of healings with you also bring 2 potion of healing drink one at the start and other after the potion effect run out. Run away from either when it is about to explode.

The bedrock wither used to be even more OP due to a bug that lasted for a very long time. The wither effect you received from it was bugged, and it was essentially a death sentence as it would NEVER go away unless you drink milk. Even if you drank milk you'd just get withered again. The only way to beat the wither normally while that bug was active was to eat a lot of god apples, and after the wither dies drink some milk. On top of that, health regeneration on bedrock still takes FOREVER compared to java.

Pro tip, on bedrock, don’t fight it in the caves. It gets laggy and there is no escape when u need it

In our survival realm I build an obsidian battle cube. I mined the end towers 2 1/2 times to make a 10 block thick cube with a hollow center to battle the wither inside so it can’t escape. I then decorated the outside to look like a giant Rubik’s cube. There’s a video tour of the realm on my page if you wanna see it. After reaching its second stage it does the dash attack wich can kill player with full netherite instantly. Also you can turn off tile drps to reduce lag.

We played it on hard, didn't know there was a difference between java and bedrock. We'd made an obsidian arena. He blew it up. He also blew up a chunk of the ocean, the village, destroyed half of the stronghold we'd made our base and decimated the landscape. We stopped playing that server shortly after that

Some quick facts about bedrock wither. First of all, the behavior of the wither dictates that he will always attempt to be 3 blocks over its objective, that's why he is always getting higher and higher the closer you get to it. Therefore, it is better to kill it out in the open, not Underground. If you do not use any Regen effect, just the wither effect of 1 wither skull will Kill you. The wither has a different moveset, including a F*CKING DASHING ATTACK in which he will wipe like a thousand blocks and you're health bar all along.

Thats why mojang should make it that the blocks that the wither destroys should NOT drop. This is also the reason why smite is op since its an undead mob on Bedrock, so that means that smite does WAYY more damage than smite

A simpler way of getting an nether star in bedrock is as follows: Step one: Find an Ancient City Step two: Jump up and down on a Sculk shrieker Step three: Quickly build the Wither *STEP FOUR: RUN!!!* Step five: Hide until the Wither's Healthbar is empty Step six: Grab the Nether Star And Get the Frick outta there.

I remember when playing on bedrock the wither , when you got it to its desperate phase it would have a charged attack where it does a horizontal spinning dive-bomb while propelling itself like a missile and it actually one-shot most players in its way and i think they kept that attack (with the spawning of wither skeletons) and i think thats what instakilled him at 1:13

As a bedrock player, I recommend to lead the wither to the surface with a lot of water or over the ocean during its half health. It will be hard to attack it but there will be no wither skeletons after you.

The best way to survive is to go to a far away open land, hide in a river or ocean to hide and heal and use a riptide trident. Trust me, thats how i beat the wither. And i would also reccomend to bring many golden apples, and a few regenration potions.

The java strat is to fight it underground, the bedrock strat is to go 10k+ blocks from your base and fight it above ground.

Maybe they could add it as a higher difficulty version. Maybe if you put, like a diamond block in the center, it will become the bedrock wither, and then it drops a better reward.

And that is how I lost the nether and 4 sets of netherite armor to a single Wither, I gave up on that world, it was beautiful too, but I made a new one and I killed it by using the end portal in the end. Was not gonna risk it. The new world is even more beautiful.

Fighting bedrock wither milk is your best friend. One effect of wither effect would feel like it lasts weeks and even worse if you try it on a no regen hard mode run. Pure hell

I think it’s cool that the wither is hard because it is an optional boss but it’s weird there’s such a difference between the two versions

I still remember the fun shit in bedrock edition with my friends, we built a giant freakin Stadium where we fight alot of monsters with some waves and after certain waves we just spawned bosses like 5 wither and more stuff

I was lagging so badly when I killed the wither that I didn't get the achievement for it. I now have the beaconator achievement but not the one for killing the wither

Bedrock Wither actually has a "charge" attack in his melee phase, where he leans forward and charges at the nearest player, this attack not only one shots almost anything, but shreds shield durability, since it hits every tick

I've gotten used to bedrock and haven't yet tried Java. The way I usually deal with the wither? Normally an arsenal of iron golems/snow golems for distraction, some Tnt cannons, and tons of healing potions
