Does the thought of a tiny desert oasis filled with BIG Largemouth Bass sound like something in your dreams? Yeah, mine too! But dream turned to reality when I stumbled upon this spot while exploring around Lake Mead!
Fishing is always fun, but there is something about fishing new places with no idea what to expect, and having your hard work pay off!
Stay tuned, this was just my first day in this area. I've got a lot more exploring to do!

I’ve been lucky enough to avoid them so far, and I’ve done a ton of walking around AZ UT and now NV. Hoping when I do stumble across one it doesn’t slow me down much!

I've fished that first area. No luck at all. Never saw/seen any rattlesnakes out here. Been living here since '06. Step into AZ, they're everywhere.

It's the last Vegas wash easy of lake Las Vegas north shore road bridge it's legal to fish this part of the wash.

Fishing is illegal in the las Vegas wash located within the clark county wetlands area which ends right before lake Las Vegas . After that and a long northshote road it is legal to fish with a license bought through Nevada dept of wildlife

I’ve heard a couple people say that.. where is that info posted? There were definitely no signs anywhere around the parking lot or trails that said no fishing

Actually you can fish this side of the wash below lake Las Vegas, the was above lake Las Vegas is a no zone

@@vincentdimarzo7241 better check your facts Vincent. It is not legal to fish any part of the wash west of the bridge. People do it, but you can get a ticket.

@@theu.s.ofangling1344There are trails made by hikers but if you look at a map of Lake Mead National Recreation Area, you will see the cut-off. West of the bridge is part of the wet lands and fishing is forbidden. I just don't want people going out there and getting a ticket because you put up a bad video.

I parked legally, had a fishing license, walked down a posted trail and didn’t see a single sign posted that said no fishing on the way to the fishing spot.. 🤷‍♂️ I do my absolute best to follow fishing rules and regulations every time I hit the water. Thanks for watching!
