Checking on a spot in the Blue Chip Gold mine that showed some promise in previous sampling, I exposed a ore pocket that blew my mind! Not for the gold, but for the beautiful, fully formed, clear quartz crystals. And yes it had gold too. I ended up recovering great big crystalline gold and a few hundred quartz points s well as clusters.
