I can't imagine living in a house this size, or elegance -- ever! So much of each home could still be salvaged, and like you said, "what a damn shame". Your filming is fantastic - thank you.
What a waste of a beautiful homes. I agree with what you said about disrespect. Children first learn about respect from their parents at home. You are a wonderful person, and were raised correctly. Blessings to you Ethan. Please stay safe. 😁

Ethan, everything you said in this video is absolutely correct. What an absolute shame to smash and destroy something this nice in the name of fun. I greatly admire your respect and genuineness. Thank you for the explores…..you’re the best!
Hi Ethan....beautiful homes that also make me sick to see them going to be demolished. And I agree with you about whoever smashed and damaged those homes were surely not raised correctly. And I like when you shut the cabinet doors and even shut the opened windows. Thanks Ethan!!
I am with you 1000% Ethan!!! It still makes my blood boil when I see such utter destruction. I personally don't mind when you talk about it, you're so right, their parents (or whoever!!) didn't raise them right!!
What I would give to be able to salvage from these houses! I could build pretty much two complete houses from what is left - even AFTER the vandalism! The materials are top notch, and with the inflation due to the pandemic prices have skyrocketed! I have to say that I admire your personal values - and that of your colleagues - in that you touch nothing. And now the video is to the place that I hear you making this very point. lol Enjoy your work, and am liking the little changes you're trying out. Keep on with the great work Ethan! Love from New Brunswick! ETA: I think I have more respect for thieves than vandals.
You can be the best parent and raise your kids right but there comes a time they seem to forget. Cant really blame this on the parents 😞 People just suck.. I loved these homes and still do, sad to see what they've become😢 😢😢
You’ve got a whole lot of heart bro , love your work , it’s hard to sit and watch these amazing homes about to be demolished, you have a lot of empathy, a wasteful society we live in , a majority of these homes should be restored, peace bro from New Zealand
Hello Ethan I agree with everything you said. Yes it’s a shame all of these beautiful homes are being trashed and demolished. I remember the first time that you went there and I wish they could have saved all of the stuff. Thank you for revisiting. Have a great day 😊
Spindle is what I call the vertical supports between the handrail and the step. Also, I agree with you about the kids that smashed these doors. They have no respect for other people's property.
Thanks, Ethan. Always like coming to these dream homes. You are right. Respect is taught at home. Kids will be kids, but they need to be taught right from wrong. I am sorry to say some parents would rather be friends and look the other way than to be a parent, teacher then a friend. It is sad....😢
Ethan how could u not be upset about the amount of damage done to these homes. You can't really not talk about it. I remember these homes.. thank you for the update.. 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Ethan, You’re right, It is disrespectful and uncalled for.. You can rant all you want, You have a heart of gold, You’re a good guy.. Thanks for the update.
I can’t believe these houses are just sitting abandoned. So sad. I remember these homes. They are so beautiful. People need to leave them alone. The second house is my favorite too.
Those homes still are beautiful despite the disrespectful acts of destructive idiots. It’s difficult not to go on about it it’s so senseless. Those that commit such vandalism, where does it end. Are they disrespectful of humans and animals. Yes overly permissive parents are responsible. It was eerie seeing the deserted neighborhood in summer. Did I get a glimpse of the ugliness they’re building behind these beautiful homes. They’re being sacrificed for garbage. Nothing we could do about it. Don’t know that I can handle seeing them actually being torn down but maybe after the fact. I hate wastefulness. Thank you for showing these gorgeous houses again. Take care Ethan be well and keep safe.
It's super sad how now you couldn't go into the basements of some of the houses that you could back in the day due to the power being cut and the flooded basements.
These houses get worse each time we go back, very sad! You can rant all you want because you’re right!! This is beyond “kids being kids’. These kids have no love or guidance. Thanks for returning!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
I believe the stair pieces are called spindles..I think. And don’t worry about it … if I saw how destroyed it got I too would get mad. I lose my focus even more so with my words when mad. Thanks for the update 💖
you are a very respectful young man. your parents rased you right. never apologize for that. very sad what they have done to the homes and the water flooding, just sad. thank you for sharing though, they must have been very nice at one time. oh and the name of the things on the steps, i believe they are called spindles? take care
Hi Ethan Are those spindles? Loved the intro and outro. Hilarious. Thanks for closing doors and drawers Much neater and looks good as well.Did I fall asleep and miss the third update cause I only saw 2. Probably would have watched thru tears anyway.
Hey Ethan 👋...loved the intro 👍...shame the beautiful houses are trashed..totally agree with you bout respect...why smash things up 🤷♀️...thanks fir update, always a pleasure watching your videos...stay safe ,well and happy 💋 🫠 ❤
Hi Ethan!! 🌈🌈🙋♀️ Sooooo close to that 💯K!!! Gorgeous homes such a shame. And wow that LV price tag!! That’s prob my year of clothes budget!! Enjoyed as always 🌻🙋♀️ Cindy
I totally agree with you Ethan, some people just didn't raise their children right!! It's sad to me that some people are so destructive!! We can hope for a brighter future!!! Keep up doing what you do!!! 👍👍🙂
I dnt mind watching your explores more than once it's very enjoyable. Theseplaces used to bepretty and it's hearbreaing to think ofall of the memories being destroyed by vandals and corporate governance not giving a hoot about it.
I always feel on edge throughout these tours. I feel like someone, could just pop up, from any room! I'm actually surprised there aren't squaters staying in empty homes like these, especially a neighborhood! It's sickening like these exist, yet SOOOO many people are homeless,in America.😢
Rant away, Ethan! It is absolute garbage that idiots feel the desire to go thru and tear places up! There really is no reason for it! I like watching ur videos due to the fact that u do have respect for urself and other people's property. Ur in a sense showcasing other people's art, architecture, etc. U give insight and possible ideas for either potential home builders and/or renovators! As for myself, I encourage ur rants! They r very much validated and accurate! At least u care and it shows! Stay safe as always and thank u for taking us along! Ready for our next explore! 😊😄✌️
It's so sad to see these beautiful homes getting demolished . It's more sad to see the destruction they now have. Makes you wonder what happened and why they were all abandoned.
Shameful to simply destroy these homes. There are many homeless families here in America that could use reaclaimed building materials to create living space. 😢
that was beautiful house 🏠 getting demolished ., what a waste of money . thank you Ethan as always taking us on great home tours . i hope the Canada wildfires are under control .
Wow thanks for visiting these homes again. It's crazy to think people are so mentally sick that come into places like this and be so destructive to another person's property for absolutely no purpose what so ever. It's beyond me who would even want to do this. I sincerely think random acts of vandalism should not go unpunished but prosecuted and made to pay for the damages done. ..Restiution.thats the only way to address crimes of this nature. going unpunished only adds fuel to the fire. Be safe Ethan. I feel your pain.
Hey Lisa is I'm just a viewer like yourself but from what I've caught Ethan must be in the Ontario Canada area, but please don't hold me to my assumptions. Lol.
Great update, Ethan...but only 2 houses? I thought there were 3...? I thought I remembered one house with the back basement stairs to the left of the door from garage with a refrigerator thrown down it.
It is really an insane waste! If is eerie seeing these beautiful homes in stillness, void of life. Seeing them with the foliage and the colorful flowers blooming on and around them, gives them an even more sombering look and feel.
It's a shame this home wasn't taken care of. If the basement is flooded and finished off the cost of the water damage and black mold removal would cost quite a bit of money to just take care of that. Plus HVAC replacement for a house this size. If you have very deep pockets(plenty of money) then you could fix it. Looks like a tear down . Ethan you are so respectful of other people's properties. Thank you USA 🇺🇸
I almost bought a house for $160k before the housing price spike in 2020. It was a 3000sqft house in a country club classified “AS-IS” because someone pulled up all the carpet leaving exposed concrete , punched holes in the wall , pulled down the chandeliers, broken windows. Its crazy what people consider “totaled”
I agree, someone didn’t raise their kids properly. There’s a lot of that these days. Kids will get up to no good as part of growing up but this level of property damage is going too far.
OMG This is One❤ beautiful 😍 Mansion 💖 Ethan,You ALWAYS Bring Us Nothing But The Best 💯 Lot's of love From San Antonio Texas God bless 🙏 You ALWAYS Ethan 😇♥️
I was just going to say that! What's going on? I seen you put this video up now 21 hours ago and I just couldn't find it. It suddenly appeared and with only 65 views and no comments. Something isn't right. Always look forward to your explores.
These 80s homes are so awesome. I love them. I don't see the financial gain in all this. A redeveloper buys all these multi million dollar homes, that are In great shape. Why not just sell them? What demo one house to build 2 or 3 town homes, doesn't make sense. Where did the owners go? Also check the circut breaker panel for the date it was built
Completely agree. Habitat for humanity could have been contacted and had much of the hardware, doors, fixtures etc donated to them. What a waste of our precious resources…and now left for buttheads to smash and destroy. Just sad all around,
It's such a darn shame how the houses used to have power back in the day before the developer cut the power off and let the water start to flood the basements. It's also a darn shame how people started to vandalize the houses and break stuff and throw stuff down the stairs.
It's really 💔 breaking to see these large neighborhoods with big beautiful home , just echo with emptiness..... no people, kids, dogs just no life here. I don't understand a big neighborhoods with new home here , just turned to ghost town 😕 and going to be demolished 💔 such waste . And vandalism makes me angry too , these kids who did it are probably come from awful home and shitty parents to tear up a homes and do vandalism especially to somethings that doesn't belong to you .
Hi Ethan 😎🏎, wow what a shame those homes got ruined even more even tho they are getting demolished it doesn’t make it right and your right people like that do suck that do all that destruction like that, any glad your feeling better now and doing good 😀,I am gonna watch your new video now,I apologize for not writing earlier when you posted this😎.
I could understand a single house abandoned but not an entire neighborhood. How strange. It really makes you wonder how they made their money where they just up and left.
I know here in the USA, there is a huge housing crisis. To see these houses abandoned and just waiting to be torn down is heartbreaking. I'm in New Hampshire and we have more than our share of abandoned homes but the difference is that the abandoned homes here are almost always older and in need of a lot of work....usually structural. And don't worry about your 'rants'....you are saying what we all are thinking as we watch.
@Ethan Minnie, it's a shame what has happened to these homes at the hands of some idiots & I agree, that is not "kids being kids". On another issue I asked about in another video of yours, why does it seem to be a bigger issue up your way in Canada of basements flooding like that? It's wild at the amount of flooding that can go on at times, you have an ideas on that you could talk about in one of your videos, please?
I really don't understand any of this. Beautiful homes just left to ruin. So much could have been salvaged. I'm honestly surprised that people haven't snuck in to salvage stuff rather than smash it. So much of it could be reused.
Ethan i cant bear these getting abused anymore they looked moved in ready and now i say quick get the TNT and put these 3 out from their misery before they get abused any further
It's such a shame how everything was in flooded the basement when the house was being demolished. I hope that the two couches were saved and put into a dumpster.
The first house was a nightmare. All I saw was hallways and doors and walls so confusing and not inviting or impressed at all. It’s like it had no soul. The waste is not in tearing it down but that it was built in the first place.
8:26 so i have to ask, why didn't you just lift the garage door instead of crawling underneath, especially considering the presence of shattered glass? not being snarky i promise, just curious!
I wonder if any of the previous tenants have seen these videos. Even if they've moved on to bigger & better it's got to sting a bit seeing what's become of what was once their homes. These were obviously family homes.
What a darned shame , 35 years of Cabinet and Trim Carpentry this is such a absolute waste these houses are beautiful. So much resources just wasting away , what happened why are they empty? Just the spindles on the staircase are very very expensive. America look at this are they in America? , boy ohh boy this verse makes so much sense MATTHEW 6:24 Who do many serve 💔
❤ Ethan yah took the words right out of my mouth No Respect ! parents now a days let their kids run them ! Such a shame those homes were gorgeous gee when I was growing up I got spankings when I deserve them !! Twice in my lifetime I was spanked this taught me if it belongs someone else don’t touch simple as that .I don’t get ppl now a days ? Little hooligans lol 😂 mind your kids thanks for sharing Ethan stay safe xo
It also makes me angry (along with the vandalism) how many people are experiencing homelessness, while homes like these get demolished (all because of GREED) -- these homes could house people. Sure, maybe some homeless people have vandalized houses that they've gotten into, but by and large, it's youth with no respect. Even if these homes are getting demolished, what is the point of the destruction by these vandalizers? Even if it's 'fun'.
Ethan Where is this located in what state and city ? Maybe I can buy one and fix it up for less ,,,, Let me know if you think it's worth it ? Are they still available?
What is the story with all these homes. I just found you. Have never seen so many mansions abandoned and being demoed. Why? Was there a huge storm that destroyed these houses or why didn't the precious owners sell them. I am confused, never seen this.
Total waste what most of us would give and take care of if we got just sitting there rotting away.! Yes it seems they all get trashed I don't know what they get out of it !! All that could be recycled instead of destroyed. Sad to see these but it's going up everywhere
