I FOUND CIRI (First Playthrough) - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt | Part 46 

the way Geralt FELT all those emotions when seeing Ciri... it crushed me D:

The scene of Geralt and Ciri reuniting is arguably the most emotional moment in the game.

I hate, hate, hate the dwarf quest. It's so annoying. You get all the way here thinking you're about to finally find Ciri and instead you have to now go find Sleepy. The world Ciri describes is the world of Cyberpunk. She and Geralt appear on magazine covers in the game, and Yen appears in an easter egg.

1:08:15 that moment when heart stop 😂. A simple tip: Geralt and Ciri been waiting a long time to meet each other. Make them happy 😊

The one thing that separates Geralt from every other witcher. He retained emotion. That's one thing all the platforms agree on, be it book, games, or t.v series.

About the Skellige gwent quest: You can do Gremist's alchemy quest (it's a pretty good one!) and then play him afterwards at any time. But there is one more opponent to play after Gremist and that needs to be done before you finish the questline 'Final Preparations'. (Otherwise you will miss the match and the quest will update and tell you to go pick up the card instead.) Oh, and Gremist is unique in that he is the only NPC you can play gwent with both within a gwent quest and then play a normal 'betting' match afterwards. I have yet to test if he can also give you a card from the random rewards pool. By the time I found out he is also a regular player, I had already emptied the random card rewards pool in that playthrough.

Ciri and Hjalmar (and Cerys, Crach, and Ermion): amongst all her other powers and claims, Ciri is the rightful queen of Cintra, which was captured by Nilfgaard in its second invasion of the Northern Realms (the one in W3 is the third). The Skellige isles are/were a province of Cintra and as its princess Ciri holidayed in the islands, learning its ways. At such times Crach was her host/guardian, Ermion her tutor and Hjalmar and Cerys her play-mates. It was when Cintra was captured that Ciri became a lost war-orphan, eventually finding and being adopted by Geralt, to whom she was tied not just by destiny but 'Something More' (short story), and training at Kaer Morhen.

Each moment of this scene is so powerful and has such a big emotional weight. But my favourite one - when Geralt stands in front of the hut for a few seconds because he simply can't make himself enter the door. And after he finally opens it he struggles to step inside. This man, who fights monsters fearlessly on the regular basis, truly afraid for the first time 💔

Reason why Crach whipped the thought out of Hjalmar's head was because Ciri was the princess and the heiress to the crown of Cintra. Ciri's grandmother queen Calanthe would surely whipped the thought out of all their heads since she already had plenty of possible plans for Ciri's marriage with international alliances in mind.

Wonderful acting and animation throughout this game, but especially at moments like this. Hope you have kept the handkerchief nearby, things get more extreme for a while. (It's ok, we'll all pretend you're just wiping yours eyes and blowing your nose because of your 'cold'). Merry Christmas again. Cuddle up and keep warm and cosy. I recommend a 'Caribbean mudslide': hot chocolate as thick and creamy as you like, Kahlua, and dark Rum. For me the cooking starts tomorrow. Do chefs get a day off? Steam: Played 30 games: Rimworld 43%, Airport CEO 18%, Bannerlord 15% - which leaves 24% of my Steam time for the other 27 games! I've also played 19+ games on GoG; mainly Cult of the Lamb, Railway Empire, and Witcher 3. And then there's Epic. There's always Epic. ~4 games, Bloons TD6, City of Gangsters, and a couple of puzzle things just to address the list of shame. What can I say? Before I went mad and got another job I was happily sailing or playing games. Thanks for the phasmophobia suggestion, had a look; online co-op not good on boat. Baldur's Gate (I assume 3?): I don't pay more than £25 for a game, so I'll probably get it in five or six years. No FOMO, no problem ^^. For you, it's a job of course.

For your first playthrough, I'm jealous vs mine; glad you are sticking with Gwent. Your strategy in your second game in this video is very sound, remember it. Your third game an eye for eye, spy vs spy... love playing AIs when you yourself can run your remaining deck to 0, but your third game, learn to give up a round, especially what you told yourself in the second game in this video. You're learning and when certain quest you do go after, I failed the criteria my first time, thus my second PT, learned my mistakes, kick the day lights out of "non"-mission Gwent players, and buy, buy, buy cards available in Valen/Novigrad/Redania/Skellige. You are in much better position than I did vs my first in TW3. Go kick some posterior when it matters :) The actual heart of the matter, your reaction no different matter than mine (my end who is father of Ciri [some choice words]). Any rate, just Geralt's reaction, nevermind the stereotype of a Witcher, seeing that, I had some tear drops... priceless scene. An easter egg drop of a future game during the 'family' discussion ;) Glad I watched it this again, too busy with Skyrim, but a quick view of TW3 never hurts :)

Thank you for another great video! I was watching another playthrough recently and they missed / didn't understand the wild hunt's motivation. If you missed it you may want to rewatch your conversation with Ciri 1:11:15 ("Why is Avallac'h helping you?") through 1:12:19 ("Any idea what Eredin wants from you?"). You don't need to look for hidden meanings or anything but if you miss that info other things don't make sense. Merry Christmas! I'm looking forward to the rest of your playthrough.
