rpg playthroughs with gingery spice and headstrong gameplay
Hi I'm Red! (she/her) a content creator and personal chef. I focus on rpgs doing playthroughs on Twitch and RU-vid such as The Witcher 3, Final Fantasy XVI, Zelda, Pokemon and Elder Scrolls.
Letho murdered thanking Roche, Ves, and Triss served, King Foltest of Temeria. It was part of the Emperor of Nilfgards plan to destabilise the northern kingdoms. After the fall of Cintra to Nolfgard which is a event that happens in the books and the death of Calanthe(Ciris maternal grqndmorher). Temeria was militarily the most powerful of northern kingdoms while Redenia was the economic power. By having Foltest assassinated Emhyr was getting rid of the most experienced battle commander among the northern. Rulers. Without foltest the most experienced commander is Queen Maeve of Lyria and Rivia but her country is much smaller. Radovid of Redania is young, being only a bit older than Ciri and Radovid is a bit unhinged.
the "this is my story not yours you must let me finish it" the first time i heard this line i thought she was being condescending, but hearing this again after knowing what you need to do to get the good ending, this dialogue is more like "i'm a big girl now, please let me do what i must"
this quest is so unfinished and so lame. first, they had us choose between killing djikstra or letting him kill roche and friends just for the sake of having a difficult choice in the end WHEN WE ALL KNOW that djikstra would NEVER do that, the best he'll do is have roche and friends as captives because he knows geralt can throw hands. second, nobody even mentions radovid's death after the quest. the NPC will still say "long live radovid!" even after his death.
Goddamit, every single time on these playthroughs there has to be someone pretending to explain the books and claim that Ciri was definitely not bi. No, Ciri was 100% bi. We've known she was bi since the friggin 90s. Sickening revisionism.
So, little fun fact is that this whole DLCs story is inspired by the Polish folk tale of Pan Twardowski, a man said to have made a pact with the Devil and ended up on the Moon as a result. There was even a movie in 1936 based on it, with Franciszek Brodniewicz in the role of Pan Twardowski. Olgierd's appearance draws heavily from that portrayal, as you can see here. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b9/Franciszek_Brodniewicz.jpg
The second gwent card Margot rewards you with is Barclay Els, but you already had that - and only one of him can exist in a gwent library. Thus, that card was not there. If you had won the second match in the small tournament at the Vegelbud estate (the party you went to with Triss to save Albert Vegelbud) you'd already had the Vampire: Bruxa card - and it would not have been in the garden.
Sabrina Glevissig is a sorceress from Kaedwen (a rather small Northern kingdom - Kaer Morhen is located there). She's in the books and the first two games. A gwent tip if I may: I think you have WAY too many units in your Northern Realms deck. It's better if you can trim the deck down to as close to 22 units as possible. It will make your drawn hands a lot more consistent towards what you're trying to do with the deck.
The letter about Professor Moreau is from Triss if you romanced her, otherwise it's from Yennefer (including Blood & Wine-only games). The wording in Yen's letter differs depending on if you romanced her or not.
I don't have any hard numbers, but I guess that I spent around 25 hours on Heart of Stone and more than 80 on Blood & Wine. Entire first playthough went on for 255 hours.
It's been a while since I played witcher 3. But, I believe the YRDN sign works great on the centipedes. If you place the YRDN circle around them, When they surface to spit poison at you. The YRDN circle will prevent them from going underground while YRDN sign is active.
There are so many little references in TW3 -- The "Sodden Letter" to Bruce from Robin mentions that a Selina died. Selina Kyle is Catwoman's real name.
@@RedMxrcy I just want to say red I really respect you for having a full time job and still do your streaming I’m just an old country boy but really enjoy watching you ❤
Oh and the thing you read out, where the cat didn’t run away from you, about Bruce, Robin and Selina do the names ring a bell? Easter Egg to Batman(Bruce Wayne) and Robin(one of many) and Catwoman(Selina Kyle). 🦘🦘🦘
Yeah I have the two deck pack of Gwent cards that came with one of the special deluxe packs (maybe the DLC pack?), I got mine off eBay off a well known seller, just after they were released. They were super expensive then guessing they are even more expensive now. Mine are still sealed in original wrapping and box always wanted a second pack to open and play but just don’t have the cash. Mate, I’m only halfway through this video, I hope you visit your house very important you do. 🦘🦘🦘
subbed - you deserve it You'll be right at home with this DLC - good food and drink is central. There's even an entertaining side-quest about food! As for your back pain - my mother's got this right now. It goes away - but could be a couple of weeks. You've probably learned by now that a supermarket trolley really helps! Glad to see you back :)
Just get better mate, your health is the most important thing in the world (take it from one is confined to a bed full time), and we’ll wait for your Witcher videos until your ready. 🦘🐨🦘🐨
@@ozzievamp thank you so much Ozzie 🥹 Ive always had chronic back pain and I’m sure being a chef doesn’t help… but this past month or two it’s been SEVERE (you can literally see my face 😂) I’m planning to finally go to a doctor but I’m not sure what they can even do. Thank you for all ur support friend, good to see you
Your title for this, reminds me of a Linkin Park song... slowly catching up with you now (damn Fallout, playing FO4 game well over 1000 hours before 100 hours now, not bsing, awesome show got me severely distracted [*cough playing FONV too*]) I always felt playing the G.o.D's game play is "Numb", otherwise distraction is death for Geralt in the worst way... knowing Geralt him bring it on! I think I saw you starting B&W... land of fairy tales, distractions, and YES GWENT, hehehe in G.o.D's sadistic laugh; 80% sure you'll do it, play the new deck ;) Curious what you think of it. Back to here, took you twice to complete the final mission here in HoS. Took me 4 my first time. Good job! *jealous, yet proud of you :) * Here's to wine w/o blood; good luck with that :P Take your time you will be hit hard with "get sidetracked with bull[feces]". A Bethesda, even BioWare, what's stopping CDPR trolling the " ". Pretty sure you'll enjoy the ride in Toussaint. Have fun!
In the ennnnnnd it doesn’t even matterrrrrr Hahaha I love it. Thanks for joining me on this journey! I do be lovin Gwent and I need to try a new deck?!?
