Filipinos Living in a Korean Community and a Plane Crash...
Yes that is exactly what I found when I went off adventuring over the Mountain road from Gingoog to Cagayan de Oro. They finished paving a new road last year giving easy access for those who want to experience the beauty "higher up" in Northern Mindanao.
This was my solo adventure all unplanned heading back home from a week long adventure trip by scooter! YOU WON'T BELIEVE THE UNIQUE COMMUNITY!

Hala naka remember ko ani nga place wait,,,, its not the same its looking good the road i remember this lubak lubak road while we travel before....now look its even more nice and safe to have a ride in motor,,,hala!! Wow.. I just miss that place Doalnara Claveria. I have been there 2 times with my friends picking grapes and strawberries and also watch the mushrooms in the other side of the Doalnara across the sapa..

When I watch videos like this, there's one thing that pops out in my mind all the time. NATIONALISM IS WEAK IN THE PHILIPPINES. Locally made affordable ice cream with fresh fruits is ISOLATED. Why can't we have those in the malls and supermarkets? we have to help out our local small businessmen and women if we want change in our economy. Korea's GDP per capita is $37,740 while its only $7,728 for the Philippines. If you want imported ice cream that would cost P300 per 16oz? that's okay. But try and extend a helping hand to your OWN COUNTRY and to your OWN AUSTRONESIAN PEOPLE.

When it goes to mall prices jumps at least 4 times... an example to that is fresh carabaos milk that cost only 20 pesos per bottle shoots up to 80 pesos in city store... and it would only cost you around 20 pesos round trip to buy it in local farm...

main reason why we need to have better infrastructures to have those products transported easily so that the prices won't jump couple of times... most of these produce from mindanao wiill be exported to the visayas region by the way of CDO or Ozamis ports...

Andri - All of the products are like that though. But the LOCAL PRODUCTS should have LESS TAXES so that the small local businessmen and women will be inspired and encouraged to keep the business going. Instead of P80. It'll only be P40 or less if they take this under consideration. Do you know what I mean? but that's not the case. Our government INTENTIONALLY BURDENS the small local businesses with OVERPRICED permits, legal business documents, taxes, etc.

The place is in san roque, aposkahoy, claveria, misamis oriental... a 2-hour ride from Cagayan de Oro, going to butuan road, but has to turn right in villanueva hill road, then off to this new secondary highway going gingoog... passing the town of Claveria after an hour, then, to the Doalnara Restoration Society Philippines Multipurpose Cooperative, after another hour... then, got to reach Gingoog after less than an hour... the road is free of traffic... so breezy cool... many places to stop for an awesome hills and mountain and canyon views... amazing, promise! specially this time, Doalnara has opened up a sunrising garden, got to come here with your family!

As I told u before Kulas, Claveria is a great place. Have u visited the sunflower and African daisy farm? Amazing place best words to describe Claveria. Dont forget to bring sweater when planning to stay overnight super cold at night, fogging at noon 'till sun down. Whatta great experienced I had on that place....... amazing views overlooking northern mindanao is somethin' great

That is really amazing! I love the scenery, they are simply refreshing, but most of all, I love those little stores selling variety of fruit flavored ice creams, local bibingkas , bbq's, and other goodies! . How do they get their electrical power in that remote location? Do they use generators or something? Anyway, I would say this is one of your best videos! All the best!!!

Malayfhil Jagmoc and Robert Benedicto. .. sorry, I did not mean to put Mindanao down. I was originally from Luzon and have been living abroad. I have been to Iligan once for family reunion and I really loved the place. With everything that Kulas had shown in his videos I fell in love with Mindanao, and I wish I could speak Bisaya.
