Those were good sales! Tbh I think the sale prices were closer to the actual value than the retail haha! My favorite was the eraser calendar and I really liked the penguin and duck also, oh and the Christmas tree!🌲 it’s too bad that one of the calendars was missing some boxes, ahh maybe that’s why it was discounted so much! I think my favorite advent calendars are the ones with chocolates lol👀 Did you see Chloe Rose did a video on an Arteza art advent calendar that came with painting supplies? I thought that was cool, I’ll keep it in mind if I want to get my hands on one next year (if they still make them) because I think it sold out fast!

Happy New Year! The eraser advent calendar was a decent value. Thank goodness you ought the calendars on sale. Imagine buying them at full price, particularly since one calendar had missing parts. EDIT ‘bought’ not ‘ought’. 🤣

If your gonna be spending money, buying discounted advent calendars is the way to go! Great video!

Happy new Becky, it's very cold here. Keep those boxs and get nick to fill them with little surprises next christmas, could do erasers, pencil sharpeners ect. Loved the video, U would refinately contact them about the missing items regardless to it being discounted the items should have been there!!

Aww nice - I wanted to know what was in these so thank you! Also just in case you want to refill it - the little pink pen was a gel pen, not a rollerball. I've made that mistake before and then wondered why the refills wouldn't fit!

Well the first one was worth $9 for sure, but I don't really use erasers like those, so there's that, lol. I really like the second one (minus all the missing items, of course), but I would never pay $150 for it. So glad you got it on a discount. I like all the same things you do inside that one. I ordered two sets of different advent calendars a few days ago, but I'm saving them for this upcoming December!

I have done Addison & Sedgwick's advent calendar the past 2 years, it's a new handmade watercolor every day and its packed with all kinds of little extras.. So much fun!

Happy New Year again, hopefully, it will be cooler soon. As for the calendars, the erasers were fun and the expensive one, not so good value, even for AUS40$. I would have been furious paying the full price and finding 3 missing. Have a nice and fresher week.

How fun!! Tho i cannot believe they sell that second 1 for almost $150! Thats barely worth $20 in my opinion and 3 were empty?!?! Thats not okay- to be honest I would go back and request like a partial refund or something...BUT on a more positive note advent calendars can be super fun and exciting so i think thats mostly what one is paying for: the excitement and such. I would like to see maybe Jacksons or Blick do Advent calenders for different popular media- like a calender for dry media and a calender for watercolor and a calender for colored pencils...etc...If they can come up with smaller sample sizes (NOT dot cards but like smaller samples sizes like 2.5mls of watercolor or 5mls for Acrylic and oil...etc..) of really popular and good supplies- I think they could make a product that is worth it for the customer and still doable for them the producer and get artists trying supplies they wouldnt normally think to try....um i dont know why Im making such suggestions- that came out of nowhere. Im sorry. Lol. I guess I just really want someone to make a decently awesome watercolor advent calender and Im hoping someone who works for one the big brands or art stores sees this comment- unlikely but its still a shot!! Lol anyway. Great video and thanks for sharing!!!
