This is a great set, it just suffers from the strong rollout of the 1st series. Imagine if this was the first set of its kind, people would be going nuttier than they are now. BTW Dani, the printing on this set does look better (in my opinion) than the first set. You are also right about the three card box being way to expensive. Even if you bought an eighteen pack booster box for $150, you would still be spending less than $10 a pack. (the cheapest I could find was $110) So guys every time you go to the store and are tempted to buy a box, save that money until you can buy a booster box or singles of the cards you want. I bought a box a pulled 5 QCR's, including the Abomination card Dani pulled in this video.

No, they definitely do look better. The ultis actually have pattern and etch, and they made a decent enough effort with the PCR. EU print is significantly better though.

The quality of the cards themselves is definitely improved. Especially the Platinums and Ultimates. They really fixed the Platinums!!!

I love the counter! It helps me get an idea of what the cost is for certain cards. Where do you get the prices from? And thanks for including where you were able to actually find this in-store! They can be a pain to spot sometimes 🔥

If this set was the one that released first (and with the original lower price) it would have been one of the greatest sets to have ever released. This set has great card quality, the platinum rares look fantastic; it just has so much. The price and timing of the set is what's really dragging it down.

Definitely a fun set to open, just too expensive to purchase outside of a booster box. Maybe one or two here or there, but overall I agree with James save until you can get a box or just purchase singles. They’ll all be down in a month or so anyways. Great video as always!

The store near me doesn’t get stock till tomorrow, so I’m just counting down!!! Can’t wait. Lot of people are hating but lots of good cards in the set. Also the plat secrets look like they should in this vs the first rarity collection. $30 is too much though. I’m in Canada so I’m sure they will be 40+ here.

Overall a little disappointed with the set, but only because rarity 1 set the bar so high. I think they did pretty well with the available options but could’ve added another home run or two (fenrir, diviner, thrust)

Honestly this set is still pretty hype. However, you weren’t lying during the livestream when you said that the mini boxes for this set were gonna be 3 packs for $30 💀. When they should’ve done what they did for rarity collection 1, 5 packs per mini box for around $20. Kinda disappointed about the pricing as someone who doesn’t buy booster boxes. So I guess I’m just buying mostly singles this time around for this set. Great video and 🔥 pulls!

@@HeartOfThePack I opened them last night with my kid, probably pick up another 5 or so, may open 2 or 3 of them, and keep a few sealed... I know this set is as "good" as Rarity 1, but Im old school, been playing since early 2000's and now I mostly just open and collect with my kid... So this set has a TON of old school stuff that I want, not to mention awesome rarity upgrades for my DM deck! Wasnt able to pull any high rarity Dragoons in the 1st three boxes, just my luck haha

The cards loock much cleaner this set. The platinum change is one of the few things in Rarity 2 than 1. Great pulls. Maybe not the QCR ratio u wanted , but u pulled some great QCRs. Congrats.

I feel like rarity collection #2 is something that isn't too bad for new players who need staples like Droll, Ghost Ogre, and generic spells. It's just a shame that it doesn't go as hard as the original for people who already have most of what they need. I also think the Coral Dragon reprint is weird since they just reprinted it in the starter set.

Yeah man, I would be confused as well. So, if the shiny card has a 25th logo stamp in the bottom center of the card, then it's a qcr, and the letters are gold. Otherwise it's a platinum secret rare

they should of named this product something else so it wouldnt get compared to last years rarity collection and it wouldn't get that much hate. the cards are still reprints making them more accessible however the price per pack is just too much. i say 6-7$ is fair per pack
