I Found Some absolutely Incredible Things Left At This Abandoned Mansion!!!

Probably the most unbelievable mansion I have ever visited.. many questions as to why this property was left with all these incredible expensive items. There are many rumours as to what actually happened here.. apparently the owner fled the country after avoiding Tax, but I’ve also heard he fell ill and the family couldn’t afford to maintain the property? I’m unsure what to believe... sadly the house was wreck after some idiot sold it to the papers who revealed its location.. it has since been completely sealed and is watched very closely by the neighbour’s & the police..

@7878 stew more likely they were part of the criminal/drug gang world and had to leave the county quickly due to pissing off the wrong people. That's why the house was never resold. They probably owned it outright and just disappeared. If there was any outstanding morgage on this place the bank would have foreclosed it.

That Bentley was last MOTd in 2008, then the most recent one was August 2020. It failed comprehensively though. I'm guessing the house has now been cleared if the cars are back in the DVLA system. My pick would have been the Lotus though.

if you wanted a driver it would have to be that astra...i bet they drove that straight out of there! .the bentley is pretty much worthless in any case as the money you would have to spend to get a rotten abandoned one of those back on the road....

This property was already featured in another explorers video and caused some controversy, even appearing in the national press afterwards. Apparently the owner fell ill and the family was upset at all the speculation and rumours regarding it... What is unbelievable to me is that the so called family members coundn't be bothered to maintain it, store the valuables, even sell the cars but got their knickers in a twist when it was made public and broken into which is certain to happen in this situation. What a waste.

It's so sad that's it's just been left. I know it was broken into but why hasn't it been made secure again or put up for auction or even rented out. Someone would of been glad to live there rent free to protect,monitor and maintain the house and cars. A waste. Things could even be saved even now. The owners must of loved this place once but if there is a family I don't understand why something couldn't of been done. Lovely place. Maybe it's not to late

I've been watching these videos constantly, and it's just full of examples of why we chase the wrong things in life. People would give their eye-teeth for the cars and the big houses... but in the end, they don't mean anything. It's all just left to rot. The really tragic things are the photographs... the memories that no-one treasures anymore. Breaks my heart.

This video was fascinating because of how everything was left as it was. And it was sad because stupid people had to break in and vandalise things. The amount of graffiti and broken possessions was heartbreaking. But I'm glad you are so careful and respectful when exploring these properties 😉

I remember this and the fallout from it, it was explored when it was not damaged then the papers got hold of it then it was a free for all with people vandalising it. Such a shame. However I liked your tour of the place it is stunning 🌹

The nature of the vandalism is really weird. Despite the extensive spray-painting, untidying and upturning of furniture, etc., relatively little has been actually broken and many valuables remain. Strange too that the cars do not appear to have been touched.

I found a ford Anglia in an abandoned garage joined to a house back in 2016, there was a newspaper in the front seat from 1978, the cobwebs look like they had been there 30+ years, unbelievable when you find things like this. Great video!

@@martinnitram3491 everything was in the house, clothes alot of game consoles and expensive stuff, but one youtubers find it a smart idea going into those places everyone knows about them and rob them, it's basicly tutor video's so people know where to go and rob stuff, think youtube need to take down all those breaking into houses video's.

Heya my god! It really is amazing and at the same time very very sad how much stuff is left behind... It's like they had to leave in a hurry...the pure amount of things there....I've watched a lot of the explorer videos and I have to say... your by far the best,, your soo respectful and careful with al, that you find and you only move something to show us but putting it right back... its just amazing the amount of abandoned houses and buildings that are out there... :):) really admire wat you do :):)

separate hot water tanks, locked bedrooms with their own bathrooms and so many cars makes me believe that this was a wealthy person's home at one point but was turned into a rooming house.

The Bentley failed an MOT test on the 26th of August this year. Previous MOT expired in 2009.

That’s what I was thinking!! Especially as there is a lock on the ‘bedroom type’ doors, and some keys were specifically labelled “Room №”. All doors inside/out have a lock, so I’m guessing that box of keys has a key to fit each door! I was hoping he’d click on, take the key box with him and manage to unlock the doors!! 😂

It would be interesting to look online in the records from the city, or hamlet, where it is. Knowing that would give more of an idea if it was used as a single home, or a bed and breakfast. Once you know who owns it you can. Back track why. 3rd floor would have been servants.

How do you find all these places? Is there some kind of list or do you spend hours looking on Google earth for them? I'd be worried I'd find people living in them.

It belongs to a Greek businessman, mr.Tachmitzis. He kind of retired in suburb by the sea near Athens and he probably lives there because he shops regularly from my mother's store and that's from where we got the news about the mansion lol.

I just found an article on Facebook about the property and it mentioned a youtube video.. I knew it had to be the bearded explorer 🙌 I also noticed in the video there was lights on the circuit board in the tiny room with the big fridge. Power obviously hasn't been fully switched off🤔

I love your videos. I lived in the UK from 1984 thru 1987 and loved it. Unfortunately, I did not live in a home like these. You videos remind me of my time there. Maybe you could do a bit of research about the people who lived in one where it looks like they just one day walked away leaving everything as is. It would be a real interesting video where you explain the reason why they left and where they might be now. I wonder why the local council as not taken over these properties and sell them for taxes owed. Or maybe the taxes as still being paid? Who ever they were they must have had tons of money. I know you can't give away the locations since it would lead to more people coming and doing damage, likely. It would be interesting to know where they are located.

Love following these and what you do. Also appreciate you like the look of decay but if you really wanted to protect these places and have them restored or made into habitable places, you need to get in touch with the right people instead of letting them be hidden forever. I found a place that was similar, tracked down the owners to being a church and contacted them as I wanted to buy it. Within a week they had sent people out to work on it. Didn't even know they owned it
