something I would like to point out: Some laptops have ram soldered onto the motherboard, which makes ram upgrades impossible for most people. All laptops that *do* have upgradeable memory use SODIMM. The memory kit you showed in the intro is for a desktop, not for a laptop. And one more thing, that laptop in this video specifically only supports LPDDR4, so if you think that you can get way faster memory and pick up DDR5, please don't do that. It will not work unless you're upgrading ram on a laptop that has DDR5 support. Ryzen 7000 CPUs support only DDR5, while intel 12th to maybe 14th gen can use either of which depending on the motherboard
No ,LPDDR means soldered. Upgradeable ram is actually DDR without LP,in Sodimm form factor. Not only LPDDR are hard to find as the average consumer doest have great skills in soldering, but if you still manqge to make the mistake to catch one then you ll feel very stupid after actually seeing what you bought without its packaging.
u cannot upgrade the ram like that you need a different type of ram even if you want to upgrade i would personally wait till warranty's run out cuz you void the warranty when you open up the laptop unless you use some different kind of insurance
I can say that this laptop is sure best budget gaming laptop due to i have same laptop just with a little worse graphics card aka GTX 1650. I don't know if it's 60 or 120 Hz, i surely belive it's 120 Hz but still it's amazing laptop and i still have it and i had it for over a year now. This laptop is amazing and i can say that for that money it's definetly worth it. I use Windows 10 on it because i had gotten it with Windows 10 inserted in it, but still it's not any diffrent which is really good. It's possible to upgrade it you are right, i upgraded it to 16 GB of gaming ram and I'm soon upgrading my M2 Disk (that's like SSD) to 2 TB due to i want to install more games. Even more intense games, like Forza Horizon 5 can run really good and its even on Medium graphics, which isn't even lowest! Anyway, great job on making this video, it's really good one and probably the best one of you testing budget pcs/laptops because you tested the laptop i litteraly have. Big respect and if you are keeping it then you got big W too. .
this is perfect for me, recently ive wanted a desktop but im already overwhelmed that i probably won't know how to take care of the insides + setting it up, which is why i want a laptop. it's easier to setup it seems, and my mom is on a very low budget so this might be just perfect for me.
Well, you still have to clean out the insides, laptops get dust buildup just the same. Just slower probably, if you keep it in a bag or sleeve when you're not using it.
i have the same laptop that i got for 989€ and i have r5, 3050 ti and 16gm ram from store but only set back was 60hz because of that i bought a 240hz monitor and i can run any game easily
I have this Laptop It's amazing, but I would recommend that you buy a 165hz monitor and put 16gb of ram in their just to Improve the performance . I am about to have some 16gb of ram installed into my laptop at best buy.

Hi I have a crap Lenovo IdeaPad averaging 40 frames per second in battle royale on all low settings and 50 3d resolution. Do you think the tweaks in his dc can fr affect my lap and make it better ?😭😭💔
A big question about the laptop, have you encountered some hardware issues with it? I bought mine for 1 month and a half, and it gets a bit hot , and most of the time just restarts randomly, even sometimes using chrome. I checked if something inside it is broken, but all was fine. I did all, bios update, even tried official lenovo programs for updating and testing it, and they showed that it has no problem. In events shows me just critical error that restarted randomly and thats all.
Is someone having the same issues? I would recommend getting the intel version of the laptop, maybe a little bit less performance but more reliable. I have another laptop with i7 8000 and gtx 1060 and still gets stable 60-80 fps with epic settings and high resolution
check the temperatures with hwmonitor. If the temperatures are really hot (100C while gaming and/or really high idle temps), then if it's still under warranty, replace it.
@@eugeniusofroni4889if you still got problems you could use throttlestop and use the feature disable turbo, it made my cpu go from 75 c to 55, Youll lose a few fps but worth it for me

When I played with laptop it has one dead pixel Soo I told owner I will give you laptop back or gave me money because of that dead pixel it has,Soo he gave back 50$. But iam really happy with that laptop it was open box worked only like one month. Also now I have that for five months,trust me I know what laptop good or not if you add me in one app.
Ive gotten 400fps in a map alone with it and its not on default settings i can get also 360 sometimes u usually cap it at 240 when im playing in a map alone and ill be upgrading the ram to 16 at some point and mine was for 780 on Amazon

It really is the best for its price it runs everything my beast desktop can run. The storage with mine was 256gb but I had a 1tb laptop hdd, and 16gb of ram the guy upgraded it to. Worth the trade for my 3080ti since I’m getting rid of my parts anyway.
This laptop has major flaws, Lenovo haven't fixed the stuttering issue caused by amd ftpm in the bios. I am using the laptop for long now and facing the issue, i contact the support also and they are not cooperative at all. It's been 1 month i last contact, they are still not able to fix the issue, I also mentioned about the ftpm issue of amd devices.
the fact fortnite only gets 75 - 90 fps in games proves how un optimised the game has become. Realistically if they optimised it properly it should run fine..
Im literally watching this video right now with the same laptop but the gpu is rtx 3060 and 165hz. I agree about the RAM, but the rest is impressively good.
I play on a 1650ti laptop and my game even with tweaks and optimizations run around 90 fps in creative and 30-50 sometimes 60 fps in game is there anything you think I did wrong? or you can help me with? Im having to play on tritanope colorblind setting because it gives me a slightly better fps boost.
Use performance mode and lower a bit the resolution and you get stable 160 fps, and feels smooth, just sometime while loading fortnite map lowers a bit fps but it gets back stable. I use one with gtx 1650, 16 ram
Here from chapter 5 i have a dell g3 that has 1050 gtx and i7 8th gen and i (had) 8 gbs of ddr4 and the monitor on the laptop is 60 hz and i was getting 245 fps max in creative and now i have 32 gbs of Ram and now i am getting 420 fps max now in creative and 200 in game ,if i have that laptop ur holding rn i would easily get 650 fps

im not joking i got a second-hand pc from marketplace for 500 euro's and i get 600 fps in creative and 400 in game. i ofc used your optimizations and it gave me a 100 fps boost. it has an rx5700xt and a ryzen 7 3700x. the pc is beatiful but i only need a monitor and mouse but i dont have money ahahah
