I´m so happy I found this channel! With tools and tools toolbox, this Toughbuilt is something of another world! I so want one... checking flight prices to the USA... So many great innovations from Toughbuilt
@@ShadowFoam After watching the videos, I bought into Stacktech ie rolling tool box, Medium & single tool storage box (1-2-3), trolley, compact tool box, crates, worktop (Bamboo) tabletop & regret Stacktech has design flaws (accessing the lower boxes is a military operation), the organisers prone to self opening. The weight empty a major issue & sadly returned the lot BACK to the store. The 3 Drawers are small in a big box compared to Ridgid/Packout. Stock in Australia is very low and replacements maybe EOY 2024 or Q1 2025 (UK release date delayed). Stacktech touted as Made in USA,, sadly not but Made in China.. Loved the videos & will look at alternative stacks (UK Quickstack 2.0 never released in UK-SAD)
I've been using these toolboxes for about a year now and am very happy with them. I have them packed to the top with tools and everything I need just fits.
I’ve been building out my stack tech set for my tiny shop ( 10x12 and 12 from tall ) anyway, they have been super helpful have organization and then I can load up and take what I need on a job
I'm already planning my truck to take a few stacks of the Stacktech to replace my existing boxes, it's so versatile, and I'm sure it will make me more efficient when out and about. The drawer system would also work well back in the workshop for those small items that always get buried or are in a top opening organiser that I have to pull out every time I want something.🙂
Thank you sir! I never heard of this storage manufacturer. After watching this video and reviewing everything available for their StackTech line, I'm sold! This is the portable line I've been searching for because all the other brands lacked the thought that's integrated into the StackTech line.
Never owned a stackable system before. Just learned about the ToughBuilt system a couple of days ago. Like another commenter, now a life goal to get it. Great unbiased video. Really appreciated the look at some of the tools as well.
Love all the innovation with toughbuilt, you can tell they're really making an effort. And that folding pull saw was a genius idea, never seen something like that
I'm currently helping renovate my wife's charity for SEN children, the pull saw would be an absolute game changer. Keep up the good work, love the channel
I've been using the Toughbuilt belt and pouches system since it arrived in UK. Many of its accessories too. I can't wait for the stacktech to arrive here. Thank you for the awesome video on Toughbuilt.
I have only seen a couple of your videos so far and I love your commitment to highlight best tools/gadgets. I am a DIYer that is always getting "told off" for buying tools that I "might need" but most of these would reduce the duplication of bits and bobs that I end ip leaving al over the garage and garden Keep up the good work/content
I just bought a Toughbuilt tool pouch and hung it on my woodworking apron to expand the pockets. Nice quality and can easily remove it if necessary. Thanks for the informative video.
Love the review! Toughbuilt is now the system I will purchasing after all the new pieces come out this summer. If you asked me 6 months ago, I'd tell you I wanted the entire DeWalt 2.0 system. I even bought the first 3 components. (Wheel Box, 2 Drawer, 3 Drawer) Got it home and realized I hated the fact you had to take off the top 2 boxes to get to the bottom tool box and returned them. I NEEDED a bottom wheeled drawer, or at the very least, 1 LARGE drawer I could put my circular saw in, and then attach it to a 4 wheel trolly/dolly. Couldn't find one, so I started designing my own system to build out of wood, possibly integrating 2.0 pieces. I'm fairly new to the stackable/pack-out system. I knew stackable tool boxes existed, but it wasn't until seeing the 2.0 system and searching on RU-vid that there was a HUGE fan base dedicated to these systems. Now thanks to you, and a few other RU-vidrs, I've discovered only a couple stackables that had the large drawer box for my circular saws. After seeing that Toughbuilt is coming out with TWO Large Single Drawer Boxes, as well as a Wheeled Drawer Box, this summer, and seeing your review here and from your Tool Show video, you've helped me confirm that this is the system I want. So thanks for that!!! 👍👍 All my tools are DeWalt since I started collecting with my first home years ago, so the Black & Yellow scheme of Toughbuilt goes perfect. Along with my future Yellow/Black Shadowfoam application. 👍👍 There's also the super Nerd in me that finds it interesting my Hogwarts House Colors match perfectly as well. 😂 (Even though that world didn't exist when I started collecting my DeWalt tools. 🤷♂️) I plan on creating 2 towers. One for Tools, and one for Auto Detailing. I only wish Toughbuilt came out with a flip-up door like Flex Stack Pack, so I could have a top box to access spray bottles & cans on a top shelf, or even a 2-Door opened on center like SK Modulars. Might have to make my own and attach it until one comes out with Toughbuilt. They seem to really be listening. Thanks again and keep up all the great videos!
Just got my foam for my packout drawers today too deep in the red system to go yellow but it does look very impressive, hoping it will push Milwaukee to innovate and will end up benefiting everyone hopefully. Great Video
I love how you are not afraid to change the layout of the tools as you are cutting. Too many people can't change their mind and the position of the tools once they start.
Good fast flowing video wow!love the toughbuilt design and quality I already have some pouches and accessories and will definitely be getting the stack boxes
Great looking tools and boxes! Probably my favourite looking box system, and the accessories are the cherry on top. Great to see more folding/multi function tools as well.
Awesome video… really enjoyed your format and how you laid things out. I’m in the States and just picked up the beginning of my Stacktech system. And I ordered some of the foam inserts.
I never thought I would get a stacking tool box set till now. You have convinced me to get the tough built system, and I have used the folding saw on a jobsite it comes in a lot handier than you would think. Great videos I watch all the time and trying to play catch up on past videos I have not seen yet great big Thumbs Up
I would definitely buy into the Stacktech system and the entire Toughbuilt eco system. You've really sold it to me with those innovative features, especially the accessory attachments points and the few drawbacks I would not consider a problem for me, except of course, being able to get them! Will be eagerly waiting for UK distribution. Love the Level and cable holders! And that folding pull saw is brilliant too, though most good pull saws have replaceable (therefore removable) blades which is almost as neat for packing. Also, must say, amazing video! Such great attention to the little things and fully open and informative! Thanks Jon!
I have many Toughbuilt tools, I am very satisfied, they are very well designed and durable. I was not disappointed with the brand, I never had a problem with it, even though I have a utility tool that I have been using for a long time, which means it is tired, but I usually spray it with WD 40 because the mechanical part is dusty, and then it works perfectly.
Looking forward to the tool box system coming out over here - Thank you for the detailed, unbiased review 👍 Was totally unprepared for the additional tool reviews - I've seen so many tools there that myself and my colleagues in NHS estates maintenance would find extremely useful!
@@ShadowFoam I’m like you I like all the quirky tools and the innovation in any tools or boxes. Most of my tools are RS tools as I was a video games engineer for 30 years but I had a stroke at the end of 2020 and i was let go after a couple of years sickness from depression and anxiety back last year plus after my stroke I’ve never been the same on the left side of my body. Keep up the great videos as I’m hooked.
I own a couple of the Toughbuilt items and was amazed at how many items that are going to become available soon. There were a number of the tools shown that I’ll add to my wish list. I think the stacking system has more benefits than my present Makita boxes so again, I can add things to the list. When your family want to know what you want for Christmas, Birthdays and Father’s Days you no longer have to suffer the old “what do you buy for the man who has everything?”. Make a list, point to it and sit back and wait for the surprise! Great video and choice of innovative tools to demo. Many thanks, W
Favourite item has to be the Pull Saw. I've always thought they were too long to store safely. Given how narrow the blade is, and how long the handle is, I am sure they are regularly broken. Having the handle folded over on the Toughbuilt, is the perfect solution. I am amazed nobody thought of it before!!
This is insane, I’ve been manifesting this Jono, I swear 😂 I’ve been looking at buying a few Toughbuilt tools and then you release this! Some amazing innovations and I love this company’s ideas and genuine usefulness to be fair. Can’t wait to get my hands on some of the tools, although the few I want are sold in US only of course 😢😂 Another great video as always!!!!
Been waiting for this. Awesome review. I use TStak currently but very interested in moving over to toughbuilt. The accessory options are awesome, they have covered every trade in my opinion.
Just grabbed about 1200$ worth of stacktech in aus, been holding on buying packout after seeing this was on the way. absolutely wrapped with it so far, sso easy and sturdy on site. hopefully it keeps on coming, thankyou toughbuilt!
My favorite Toughbuilt product I have is the folding work table. Same thing lots of options to clip on accessories, clamping slots on top and easy to break down and carry.
That folding pull-saw looks like a great idea. Just putting a small "around the house" tool bag together - definitely a place in there for one of the Toughbuilt scraper/combo knives.
I think the stack system is a really good idea, can’t wait for it to be out. Favourite item on these lists was the mini utility knife. Finding a small compact utility knife can be hard nower days so I’m glad toughbuilt have made one
Toughbuilt needs to get over to the UK with all of this. The innovation is next level. Definately love the scraper knife as a key 2 part tool. On my way to rebuilding the tool collection, I think im sold on some of these toughbuilt goodies over my previous makita/dewalt bits.
Love the stack tech box system and how innovative their hand tools are. My favorite accessory is the bar and clips for cable as you can put it on the front or the side.
You should be sponsored by Toughbuilt! I had never heard of them before you introduced me and now I am sold. Everything they do looks so good. That hammer looks mega. I am due to replace a load of my tools soon and I was considering Dewalt to match some of the other things I have, however TB is now a clear winner for me and I'll await them bringing a larger range to the UK!
The utility knife and scraper look like a winner to me!! just put my order in for some shadowfoam to tidy up my tool kits, 3x different colour packs!! I love the content keep it up, I'm sold on the concept, fingers crossed, looking forward to the results once I'm finished! I also think that a SF Logo stencil (with different sizes) would be a great idea.. I would include the logo in my build/revamp project.
Brilliant review and overview of the kit available over the pond. I've got a dozen or so TSTAK drawer boxes and have been eyeing up the Stacktech drawers since i first saw them! If they were available over here I'd happily have two systems for my tool set. Not too fussed about locking drawers but I'm not working on site. Thanks for the video!
Excellent review, really good attention to detail and honest assessment. Every time I started to think "but what about..." you addressed it. The accessories and mounting system actually look genuinely useful, if they can keep the pricing within reason it's a tempting system. Agree they do need to work on a locking method for those drawers, maybe the existing product could even be retrofitted using the accessory rails. I like that pocket level with the thumbwheel. Is there a positive stop at 0°? Not a dealbreaker, just think it would be slightly more convenient.
The Stacktech system looks super useful and tough. I like the innovative and extensive product range. The simple ruler add-on, pouches, roller case, and the utility scraper knife are standing out to me. I just started with the Stanley T-Stack boxes, but now I'm thinking of waiting until this new system is available in Europe (the Netherlands).
