I think Floyd and his team had planned that you would get ready, get in the zone and all warmed up only to throw you a curveball to get you out of the zone, confuse you and throw you off. MASSIVE props to you for still going through and getting in the ring with arguably the best boxer in the world Edit: Plus with Floyds right hand man telling you that it'll be a fun fight with Floyd going easy and won't hit you hard, Lulling you into a false sense of "Okay so he's not going to go hard" so that he can take you easily only for you to acknowledge that it wasn't the case during the fight, only makes you look better IMO
did you watch the fight? Floyd certainly did not take deji seriously, he most definitely didn't take deji seriously, how could he when he's considered one of the best ever. Regardless of the outcome you fought the best fighter in the world and you gave your best effort. The fact that a few fights back you could not handle the stamina against a youtuber and here you are fighting the legend and making it as far as you did with him is beyond impressive.

Deji has changed so much since his first fight against Jake. I’m glad he’s finally got his confidence back after all the previous fights and I actually can’t weight to see him keep progressing. Onwards and upwards weji🙌
He put up a better fight with Jake than he has with any other opponent. The cold truth is that Deji can train for years on years, but until he manages to stop taking his shyness into the ring and becomes confident he will never change. His fight with Floyd was embarrassing to say the least, if I were him I wouldn't be proud of the performance. Floyd disrespected him for 6 rounds straight. What I saw in that ring was the same person that fought Wasabi and Vinnie Hacker. Scared, no confidence or means to try and win or be competitive.

I think he was going to go slow paced until you hit em in the eye that’s prolly why he tried to knock you out a lot of people get serious in sparring that way 😂 especially with beginners

The amount of experience deji has gained all the way from the build up, to the contract changing, to the mind games, soooo many things got thrown his way and he still made it through. Deji is going to be even more dangerous moving forward
