To girl no. 1, I would ask if she managed to buy the sunglasses yet. See what she says. Maybe she’ll shed some light. Then I would respond by saying, if she isn’t going to buy a new pair then you’d like for her to return the money as you gave it to her to replace them as she was so distraught by a simple accident, not as extra gift and pocket money. Stand by your morals and be direct. If this girl is a genuine friend she will understand your heart. Hopefully she’ll say, “I realised I don’t need a new pair as it’s just a scratch, I’ll give it back to you.” If not.. I would reconsider if this is someone you want in your life
To the girl wanting to move to London, i'm also from Melbourne and moved to London 5 years ago! I'd never lived out of home before moving here either, but it was the best decision i've ever made! London is so similar to Melbourne and there are so many facebook groups and tik tok groups for events or girls trying to meet and make new friends. Just remember it could be amazing and you want to stay for longer or it doesn't work out and you can go back home. Either way take the chance and you'll never have those what if thoughts. Always here if you want to talk about it more x
Also wanted to add, she can also look at Spareroom if she wants housemates to combat fears of loneliness. I'd also recommend setting up video calls with potential housemates to gauge the vibe.
Born and raised Sydney here and Melbourne is London basically I’ve known that for some time now but I feel like people from Melbourne don’t and I’ve never been to London
I’ve just come back to this video to say .. I’ve been with my fiancé nearly 8 years now and he’s NEVER called me a goblin before… until 30 seconds ago.. he was leaving the room and goes “come on little goblin let’s go to bed” SORRRRRRRYYYYYY 😅😂
To the girl wanting to move to london, there’s so many Instagram pages that is like social events with other people who don’t know others. Loadsss of classes to go to etc
My mum used to tell me if I sat too close to the tv my eyes would turn square and if I pulled a silly face the wind would change direction and I’ll be stuck like that 😂😂
I’ve got my own home now and I’m the same with the water! I’ve literally just had to wait 30mins to have a bath 😂😂 I thought it was like this for everyone!
Old wives tales from my Serbian grandmother: If you walk barefoot, you’ll die. If you let the wind blow in the house, you’ll die. If you walk under a ladder… you guessed it! Dead! And god forbid you see a black cat, black dog, black ANYTHING!
@@annievine9686 hahahah! It is bizarre! And it’s universal in Serbia! It’s not just my grandma, all Serbian babas (older women) freak out about bare feet and the wind 😂 they must have had the same superstitions textbook 😆
as a 21 year old sally i can confirm my parents are still naming their kids sally 😂 once got told by a kid in school i was the only sally he knew under the age of 60 and honestly… same
Wouldn't give my friend the money, not in a funny way but I feel bad for scratching your glasses here's another same pair I will swop you 🤩 maybe I could've found them on sale or cheaper somewhere, instead of dishing out moneys
To the girls, who thinks if she should take an opportunity and go to UK for 6 month, do it! I never been there, but i have been living abroad for a long time, and i took my first long business trip around the same age. This experience really can change you! Just remember that if you want to have great time you need to take it upon yourself, find some groups for meet ups, plan outings for yourself etc it’s the only way to make sure you will have a great time! Also it worth discussing with your company what is conditions to cut your trip shorter, just in case
