I Get Heat Stroke in Kaohsiung 

What begins as a lovely day in Kaohsiung watching my brother do Kendo at a historic martial arts center, followed by sightseeing with the beautiful Dori ends with (self-diagnosed) heat stroke. I ended up in bed for two days after this and still spent a week recovering in Taipei after two visits to the doctor -- but it was worth it. A horrible lived experience, but a funny story in hindsight. I still recommend all the places we went to -- but please dress for the weather!
