Machine 1, totally disassemble and clean carb, in B12 ChemTool, but DO NOT leave in the bath more than about 20 minutes, and pleas do strip all rubber parts first. If it runs, and you continue to run on ether, then it is only a carb prob. Barring all else, just replace the carb, $12-18.
