Karolina, I am very proud of how well you managed to stay calm in this entire situation. You are an amazing performer, and I do agree that losing the recordings is bad. Even though I live in Southern Ontario, Canada, I will still share this via my social media in hopes that someone out there will be able to help you in locating those records, as well as to share your message about leaving valuables in your cars. I am so sorry that you had to experience that! It most likely was a crime of opportunity, that’s why I usually have a blanket in the car and I put stuff underneath it so it looks like it’s just there to keep my kids warm. Some stores cut hours and flat out moved away from San Francisco. I hope you still perform in Santa Monica. I hope to by accident see you next month during my vacation. Taylor Swift had a local concert at Levi’s stadium and the highest price for a seat was 9,000. So be careful out there and don’t leave anything in the car. Bad people are everywhere. I once had someone break into my car for a cheap 30 dollar gps. It was on a busy street, middle of the afternoon and my alarm blasting. They broke my window. Karolina, you have learned that the world isn't as nice as you and I would like it to be. There are two things I do whenever I park, even for "just a few minutes". I always install my Club (a steering wheel lock). Always. And I never ever leave anything in sight. In the trunk or in the rear with a privacy cover in place. And never, ever leave any electronic device in the car, not even if it is "hidden": Thieves carry small devices that let them know whether a computer or other electronic device is in the car. They only break the window(s) if they are sure that there is something resellable inside. I have owned the same car for 22 years, park it in some questionable areas, and it has never once been broken into. Hope this helps. Oh, and your response to the thieves is incredible! It is so rare to see that much love in anyone. I'm sure that you must be a beautiful angel who is (usually) able to hide her wings...

I remember a man going to assist a young driver, so he thought. Instead that young man turned around and put a knife in his gut. He was stealing the vehicle. First of all, I deeply regret that your car was broken into and your microphones and CD cards were stolen. The property damage that was caused can possibly be absorbed but the value of the stolen sound recordings is priceless and I can only hope that the perpetrator or perpetrators will be caught quickly and receive a fair punishment and that you get your recordings back. I can't say anything that hasn't been said already except... a friend of mine lost her purse at a gym, and the one thing I realized is that if thieves sitting in the parking lot notice a female go inside without a purse, then it's most likely still in the car. Hiding it under the seat doesn't help, so it might be better to take it inside.

There are a lot of sick people in this world people that are not in the right mind and they do things without fully thinking and thinking about the outcome and who, and how many people they are going to hurt. first of all I am grateful and thankful that your family is OK. I’m also grateful that anything else was not stolen. I’m also grateful that you had the opportunity to fix your car. I’m also hoping that somebody will come forward and sign this backpack with your audio and microphones, I don’t know what they would do with that and why they would want that if it has no meaning to them. I pray, and I pray hard that this never happens again to to you or anybody else. In the future, this won’t happen again to nobody.
