Love both vehicles so much! I think you made a great decision with getting the GX! Those are great vehicles and it will last you a long time! I also always loved the look of the F-Types! Love them both!
Thanks man! Definitely a big change from what I was used to, but I'm really happy I made the switch. Reminds me a lot of my first car, an 05 Tahoe Z71, just nicer and much more refined.
Like I stated in the video, it was time to move onto something more practical that's a better daily driver. I'll be moving from ETX to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in less than a year, and the Mustang as a daily driver in a big city is really hard on it as well as me.
Haha no way?? I'm guessing you're from the ETX/DFW area? I'll miss her, too, but I'm glad I was in a position to have something I love just as much to replace it.
Get a bottle of White Diamond metal polish for the exhaust tip. Do NOT use steel wool as another viewer suggested, it’ll just scratch the finish up and take away the shine. Most parts stores carry it.
The F type is pretty awesome! And don’t worry about getting on the computer and looking just for fun. I do that all the time. And I happened upon an insane 2007 Mercedes-Benz CL 65 AMG! With around 67,000 miles on it for just under 37,000. The GX 460 is pretty nice too. Does that engine have the D4S fuel in Jackson? I am not even sure if the GX models had the dual fuel injection like some of the other Toyota/Lexus engines.
Thanks man! I appreciate it. That's a pretty good steal for the CL65! Those biturbo V12s are pretty nuts. I'm not sure if the GX has the D4S system, but from what I can tell, it does not. It's a pretty old school V8 engine haha.
If I could have any car though it would be the 1994 Corvette ZR1 in Admiral Blue with the beige interior and the 6 speed. I always thought it would be cool to have a special car from my year. And I did some research and your GX does not have D4S
When did you all get rid of the 2011 f150 and how many miles were on it and what motor did your dad decide to go with on the new truck sorry I know that’s a lot of questions
We sold the 2011 in December of 2016 with just under 100k on it. Traded it in on the 2016 King Ranch with the V8 & it's still here running great with about 33,500 miles on it.
You sold your personalized Mustang GT. Wow! That is really disappointing! You switched your priorities and bought a rice wagon. I am also switching my priorities by switching off my subscription to your U Tube channel. Have fun in grandma’s car!
A rice wagon? Not sure how a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser-based luxury SUV is a rice wagon but lol okay. I'm sure there's plenty of other Mustang channels you can subscribe to :) I'll be here enjoying my reliability & lack of stress from my car.
Let's see, you had a car that was your dream car that you would never sell. It was so fun to drive and to take to the car shows and autocross. It looked cool, sounded very cool and was inexpensive to buy mods for. Now you have a car that is has an automatic (yawn) transmission, is very bland white (yawn) and will be very expensive to get any parts for upgrades. You have an uncle that owns a body shop that repaired the minor damage to the mustang and bought an expensive car that only wealthy old ladies would be seen shopping at Rodeo Drive. So I don't buy the fact that you were so distressed about the traffic accident cost that would prompt you to buy an expensive SUV. You could have an accident in the new car as well. I just bet that every time you see a 2005-2009 mustang GT you will regret your decision.
practical? perfect for a single person in nursing school? i mean getting 13 mpg isnt very practical. why not the subaru forester or the rav4? why a big gas guzzling old ass suv? for the price you paid for that you could probably get a new forester that will last you years to come and the technology will last
