I absolutely LOVE Mama! Even though my boys are all grown up men now, I am still their mama and would still protect, defend and fight for their safety to the ends of the earth! That is simply how God wired us mamas! I love that you put a fight song on a worship album! And as a Mama of four sons, I consider taking our responsibility to care for our children a huge part of worship! So I believe that Mama is most definitely appropriate on a worship album. We really have to always watching over our children , because we are in a time , if they can get to you , they are after our children. It is so sad that you always have to be monitoring what your children watch who are there friends and the list goes on , it's even very frightening to send you children to public school.

It is the unyielding faithfulness of the Lord Himself that creates this protective environment for those who take shelter and abide in His care. Amen!!

Thank you Kim, such powerful words. I totally understand, times have changed so much in bringing children up. I'm in the Caribbean and it's sad. But we are in the times. We gotta to keep covering them, their schools, teachers, everything. The children of the 80s and 90s truly had an easier time. God bless all of us. With Jesus all things are possible, He's with us.
You are such a encouragement to me a 70 , mother of 3 , 6 grandchildren. My youngest is 38 and you are speaking the very things I was finding raising him that long ago . I became and with gift of discernment watched the Christian section at book stores become small And the new age , witchcraft etc But now the Christian section is making a comeback . I took my children out school for their Halloween party and their sex ad and introduced the teacher to a healthy book on the topic and he purchased 3 copies for school library . I also spoke to cashiers at check out about magazines and all the candy . Be bold speak out !!❤
I’m now a grandmother who still after years (since high school) doesn’t trust public schools (they failed me), so when my kids started grade school, I sent them to a Lutheran school (we were members of the church).

I really try not to get involved in politics, particularly since politics can often be divisive...but I have to say that I agree with your world-view. In fact, I respectively disagree with the ""It Takes a Village to Raise a Child"" world-view. In my opinion, it's not even the church's responsibility to raise my children. In my opinion, it is primarily a mom and dad's responsibility to raise their children, especially if the mom and dad want to increase the odds of their children developing a godly, biblical world-view in life. The church, schools, coaches, etc. may be fantastic supplements to my children's up-bringing... but I believe that the God of the Bible's original design was for Adam and Eve (a mom and a dad) to primarily raise their children. In fact, I will go a step further and suggest that when you have ""too many chefs in the kitchen"", your children are more likely to be belligerent and confused...at best (just take a look at the nightly news). I like your boldness. Keep advocating for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ! Switching from politics to music (kind of)...I love your song, Mama! Actually, I think this new song would be a worship song because our worship, when done right, is warfare. Raising our children (and grand children) in the Lord is giving worship to Him.
I never trusted anyone because I’ve been sick since a young age and hid it from everyone because family especially attacked me and saidI I was Crazy, Alcoholic, bullemic, Liar…they were trying to justify the way they were treating me. Can’t show weakness in this world❤️🫶🏻
