In todays video we revisit one of my favourite series of games from my childhood with Fable; The Anniversary Edition. Absolutely enjoyed my time playing through it after so many years and sporting 50 achievements, it's a good way to get my 100% Steam achievements portfolio properly started.

I loved the character development when you pick an option, seeing your character change was a genius idea. Ahead of its time for sure

100% agree mate, I actually can’t name any games off the top of my head that actually do this, at least to the extent that Lionhead did with the series and it only got better throughout the trilogy. Sure I can watch my characters hair grow in loads of games but tell me another where I can feed him 27 apple pies and watch him go from slim to Chonky, get more scars each time I die or grow horns the eviler I get. Just phenomenal imo

@qparadigm Same here, been waiting for a new installment ever since fable 3 (we dont talk about the other two) Considering it’s been developed by a studio that’s literally only made racing games, I am a bit concerned with how it’s gonna turn out, not it necessarily being a bad game, but it being a good game, just not a fable game.

Man haven't got the time to watch it now, but it is awesome to hear that you really love this series too! Alone that deserves and click and a like lol. @@WatsonKHDoh I’m so with you on that, I’ve replayed this game a lot through the years and going up against the Balverines for the first time is always so stressful! I’ll also never get Jack’s original voice actor out of my head, so creepy

I started playing Fable: The Lost Chapters when i was about 10 years old or even younger and instantly fell in love with it. Playing the second game and loving it too and then the third and... hoping for more. but neither really compared to the first for me. Replayed over and over and trying to combo every choice possible i always had a soft spot for this game. Still replaying it now, although the OG and not the anniversary as it felt off somehow, i get a rush of nostolgia and joy

At first I was waiting for when you would get the last achievement to tell everyone about the issue, but then I saw that you actually 100%'d the game and I was like what the hell? Apparently there is a difference between both the console version and the PC version of Fable Anniversary with its achievements; with PC you have to knock down three enemies with a fireball, where as with console you need to connect the Xbox SmartGlass to the game which unfortunately Xbox SmartGlass is no longer available to obtain and therefore 100%'ing Fable Anniversary on console is impossible, but is possible via Steam.

My next 100% on xbox will be Fable anniversary i think, i got like 3-5 cheevos before i stopped playing in 2014 and one of em just happened to be the smartglass one

I like how some of the achievements are just absolutely not related to each other. Like it gives the option between two things, and they have nothing to do with each other. "Participate in the fishing contest or do the naked boast" likr those are not related at all

Got a few good games planned but definitely aim to return to get watch dogs finished for a complete series on the channel. Not sure if that’ll be the next video or the one after though

Hell yeah good luck playing the fable trilogy with the dlcs. I remember playing the third one but not the full game the demo version

I actually planned to do the whole trilogy and put it all into one video, although they do have co-op related achievements but found out the servers were down or at least very poor and when trying to invite a friend I can confirm they couldn’t join. Even attempted h the matchmaking but nothing happened. Sucks because Fable 3 has to be my favourite of the series and would’ve loved to revisit it

I hope you do Fable 2 and 3 platinum trophy/all achievements run I enjoyed watching you get all the achievements from Fable Anniversary and that it is possible without shifting your morale alignment i’m curious if you can do that for Fable 2 & 3 (especially in 2 since each ending achievement is tied to your morality)
