I got called out.
Someone took issue with me profiting and capitalising off of fat loss information.
Unfortunately, it is actually becoming an increasingly common occurrence. People who are new to my page see that I have written a book and accuse me of being financially motivated.
Honestly, I totally get it.
I think you should be wary of people who are selling something. Having a financial incentive doesn’t definitely mean someone is scamming you, but it is definitely worth being at least a little more cautious of. I say this all the time.
But, what a lot of people don’t understand is that I wrote a book talking about research. I didn’t write a book like “oh yeah, this is the best fat loss plan ever that will give you a six pack in the next 7 days or your money back”.
I mean this with all the love in the world. I could not give a shit if you actually want to lose body fat or not. That’s never been why I make my content at all.
I talk about the research discussing pros and cons of different methods so you can make your own educated decisions, because I care far more about you being healthy and happy than how much you weigh or what your body fat percentage is, you know?
Anyway, I know most of you already know this (hopefully), but I wanted to make this video so I have it saved next time someone accuses me of only making content for profit.
Because trust me, if I wanted to make as much money as possible, waiting 13 years to write a self-published book would have been the least efficient method in the history of the world.
Instead I would make all my videos topless, and have a V-Shred-esque fat loss quiz which then sold ebooks tailored around your body type *sips tea*.
Thank you all for your support. Have a nice Sunday.
P.S. my best-selling book, ‘Everything Fat Loss’ is currently on sale at Barnes and Noble, Apple, Kobo, Google, and at Amazon with an extra 33% off in Canada. Feel free to grab it before the price goes up.
