I just got covid for the first time and found your channel. I took all the precautions to avoid getting and maintain a healthy lifestyle via exercising and eating a balanced diet. Im vaccinated as well; yet this thing still hit me pretty hard. I have a sore throat from hell and feel like I got a hit by a truck. Im taking Bee Propolis daily to possibly help with the infection. I take DayQuil which helps me function- I’d rather not take it but my boss doesn’t seem to think covid is a big deal so I have to work from home. All I know, I don’t want to be reinfected so I will be even more careful in the future. I was doing so well too! I was in the “NOVID” club for three years… oh well.
I currently have COVID and my throat literally feels like it's being ripped apart every time I swallow or try to talk and I'm starting to lose my voice and today is only my second day it's already been absolute hell.
finally got covid 4 days ago. the fatigue u feel the first days are unreal. never felt anything like that. must have slept at least 20 hours that first day. after that it just felt like a nasty cold.
I haven't had it until now. I took 2 home tests both were positive. Ive had a bad headache the past 2 days and was so hot at work last night. I woke up this morning with chills, fever, terrible aches and pains. I started elderberry gummies today, Tylenol, ibuprofen, nasal decongestant. I feel awful
That Dr Teals Epsom salt has some fragance in it or something. Try the generic brands maybe? I bought that brand by mistake once and i didn't get a rash per say but the smell was just so strong i never used it again
I have been very blessed to NEVER get Covid because I don’t be exposed to lots of people and stay away from crowded places especially during the flu season 😷
Good, I'm recovering from it right now and it sucks! Going back to wearing my mask all thee time after this. Idgaf. Lol. I dont even know where I got it from as I dont go out, so I'm going to assume it was from work.
@@rossothecrimson7 hope that you are doing well 🙏🏽 You must have been in close contact with your coworkers? Is this your first time getting Covid and was your symptoms mild moderate or severe ?
@@pc24681 Not really hanging out with coworkers too much, I probably messed up and touched my face. Then again I heard the newer variants are highly contagious so who knows. I have mild symptoms like a few days of headaches, a day and a half of sore throat, chills for 2 or 3 days, low grade fever between 99 to 101. Most annoying part is I think my optic nerve is inflamed because I developed a small blind spot in my right eye 3 days into covid, and my lymph nodes on the right side of my face are swollen along with my sinus burning at random.
I just got Covid for the first time a few days ago. And now its Christmas day. Having to isolate from family too so im basically alone. Just have a terrible sore throat now and just went for a short walk but had to come back as i got breathless after 5 mins.......
@@pc24681depends on the person. I caught it for the first time in January 2023. I avoided it for so long being a health care worker. It was horrible. I was violently shaking with chills. Coughed alot for two days. I had shortness of breath for 1 day. It was weird. Not like bronchitis or anything. It was coming directly from the lungs. No headache and i had lower back pain. My blood pressure was slightly elevated and i could feel it. The thing that lingered was the dizziness and fatigue. But the dizziness lasted 3 weeks. It was so horrible. I was back at work feeling crappy. I have it again now. Not as bad. I felt a coldish sweat in my body. More like a bad cold this time. Slight cough, headache, elevated blood pressure, fatigue. I could hear my heart beating in my ears.
@@nenaj1 I have been very blessed to never get Covid because I don’t be exposed by lots of people on a daily basis and I am very cautious person in general 🙏🏽
This title! Been repeating this statement with a bemused expression for about 45mins.. I just tested positive for the first time at 237 am.. it's my Monday back to work at a car rental agency (so I'm missing out on scrilla forilla 🤣) the week before Christmas and I wake to go to the bathroom like "...yeah, I don't feel right". Always showed up negative UNTIL today. Smdh I thought I was superwoman for a min LMAO.
@@GloriaGao Thank you! I really can't tell if I actually had covid because I did test positive it was only a runny nose for like 2 days and then disappeared and it wasn't that bad though if I did have it
@@GloriaGao thanks for responding! Near Midland and Finch there's a bunch of places that sell Chinese herbs and stuff and I'm sure they are really amazing but I don't know how to buy them! I lean towards herbal stuff but when I got the dreaded Rona last week for the first time I ended up taking advil, inhalers and NyQuil.
@@FormerlyKnownAsAndrew In that case, maybe you could show them this: The pills I took are 连花清瘟胶囊 The herbs my mom sent me are 干姜、炙甘草、桂枝 (10g each per serving) Hope this helps!
