Totally agree. I think your usual foundation always looks a bit too yellow and the darkness really stands out from your neck and the area around your eyes. Since you often use a pink-tone shadow, this blends much better and I think the slightly lighter, pinker base actually ups your lipstick game by contrasting well too

I'm pretty convinced she was using the wrong foundation shade all these years!

The price is pretty comparable to a lot of higher end but not luxury foundations. There are a lot of NARS and Makeup Forever foundations that are equally as expensive and lotsa people use em every day without any sort of exact matching, just pre-made shades on a factory line. The Lancome one takes that into consideration but it's also a lot more expensive. But I still agree it'd be great to see them make some different varieties. I imagine that would come down the road though. Something they add in time once they see if anyone is even interested in this app or company - not something they go all out on from the start.
