The animated ranks you talked about are "Rank Up and Rank Down" Animations. Like if you have 12.999 your rank will be animated because you are close to 13.000 (You cant instantly jump to 13.000k from like 12.956) You will always go to .999 first. Same with 13.000k. You wont instantly derank and thats why its animated! Hope this helped :)

I assume many people don't know, because of the comments and other people I know, but the scoreboard scaling is based on damage by default but you can select how it displays the teams based on kills or damage etc. by clicking on the top row for which one you want it to scale by.

The ones with sparkly, fancy looking rank scores means they’re on the verge of ranking up (or down) to the next 1K tier. Both of the opponents with that were at 10,999 & 11,999 so that would have potentially been their rank up game.

Sparkles, look at @9:57 and freeze it. You look knackered. You got Blue circles around your eyes. You need lots of sleep and Real Food, no Uber delivered fast food or a Food Express, real actual Sunday Roast type stuff for a few meals and a few days off. You can click on each header of the tab leaderboard, default is dmg but if you filter by kills it is similar to before

Didnt got access dispite me playing many hours of danger zone in the last month and playing normal ranked as well. Even ranked up 2 ranks in normal and 3 in danger zone.

Keen for road to purple! I’m chasing 10k! The annimations are for a rank up or rank down from that 1000 👌 9,999 you get plus symbols flying up, 10,000 you get downwards arrows 😅 as always love the videos and the edits!

I was in a game yesterday and a guy in my team was top of the leaderboard with 5 kills 12 assists when the rest of us had like 15 kills. Poor guy had insane damage but never finished the kills xD

The new rank system CS2 has is pretty neat. Valve for once added an initiative for people to keep playing comp.

i think when the season resets it's going to put everyone at whatever thousandth elo. for instance 5500 elo will turn to 5k. what do others think?

it appears to me the changes the scoreboard is due to valve directly trying to step on faceit/esea toes with the new premiere mode so they've tried to model the new ranking system around the elo and round-win shares system which are essentially a mix between playing the objective and adr

You can actually sort the scoreboard. Standard is who has the most damage but you can also sort it for kills.

I'm 3,5k elo on faceit. Never dipped below global in MM either. I played 27 matches in CS2, not once did I kill under 20 ingame. My average is 24 kills calculated by all my games. In those 27 games I've lost 20 due to bad teammates, people leaving, toxicity and alike. I was placed in 11,3k rank. Irl friends who are 12-1500 elo faceit and MG in MM and never killed more than 15 in any match they've played have been placed in 14-17k rank. Something there isn't working properly.

the animated + means that they had an up rank match and are plus in their points and viceversa.

Scoreboard shows what ever you click on. If you click "kills" - it will rank you by your kills.

Everytime i loose, i loose around 130 up to 190 points and when i win i get around 100 points. Its so frustrating if you try to rank up but you join almost always a brain afk team with mates either not playing good or not even saying a word.

I got 10.121 playing with 40/60 fps, so my guess is that when I buy my graphics card and the game is better optimized I will get something like 15k maybe... I just need 120 fps stables and I will be hella good
