Never feel bad about putting extra straps that's just being responsible and safe never feel bad about being safe and putting an extra strap a lot of guys need to put the extra strap and don't that's why everybody looks bad keep being safe and doing what you're doing you doing
@@hotshotwithme I’m just glad it wasn’t another breakdown video!!! 😂😂 when you gonna upgrade to that Cummins bro? Wouldn’t you rather be Cummins than power stroking 😂😂😂
@@hotshotwithme I feel you there bro. I’m really starting to look into those sport chassis freight liners. I’m wanting to separate myself from regular hotshots.
I see you have the Amsoil bypass on, I've been running Amsoil for 25 years, considered that bypass for my 3500, how you like it? Has it reduced your costs at all?
Im still changing my oil every 10k but when i was using ROTT6, i still changed every 5k; excessive i know but with my truck being a 6.0, and towing as much, i felt it was necessary to keep the oil as clean as possible, so i never go the 20k that they say amsoil can go up to; but thats just me; I prob wont use anything but amsoil in the future too haha
i also will say; the biggest diff is the coming home intervals; way easier to manage running amsoil w/ bypass; pretty much change oil with the fuel filters every 10k; if i had your truck, id still do the exact same interval
@@hotshotwithme Really? That is good to know! I want to get into HotShot but I'm going to be on a budget to start when it comes to truck and trailer and obviously don't want to get something with a ton of miles on it. Any tips? Been watching your videos for a little while now.
a lot of tips tbh haha maybe ill make a video about it; i think the biggest thing is understanding that older vehicles arent really meant to do what we do when they were first designed; now trucks can handle the weight we carry with ease, so depending on the age; parts wear and tear is something youll be fixing a lot more frequently; also make sure u at least have fresh leaf springs / put your truck on air before you start if ur going older like mine; last major tip, get a tuner to monitor temps and codes for sure
