Problem is your using a fuse that's 6 times what it's supposed to be, it's supposed to be 5 amps, so if anything overheats om that circuit the fuse won't blow and break the circuit, you might smell burning from that area of your fuse box, because it could possibly cause a fire I would recommend keeping your eye on it for scorched or melting plastic or a smell of burning, pull that 30 amp and get it seen to professionally, also that wrong fuse might cause the computer to act up
@@Stoddy2k - better that than have the truck go on fire! Luke already had a problem the previous week with his indicators and had to have the offside cluster on the unit replaced. Maybe something amiss with the electrics that needs rectifying.
De icer tip: fill a large sandwich bag with hot water (not boiling) and then rub the bag on the iced up glass. Works really well, better than de ice and better than in and out with kettle needing extra water etc.
Agree with the others about the wrong fuse. It's there to do a job which is to tell you that it can't cope. It let's you know there's something wrong with the wiring and it's his job to tell you by tripping out. If the manual tells you it should have a 5amp fuse, you can't fix it by using a 30amp fuse. You are sat in basically a fire box, and through experience, you will have only less than 5 minutes for a fire to take hold. Get it seen to by an auto electrician now
Don't bother with the little amazon power packs . For a little bit more money you can get a proper one. Have a look at the SIP rescue packs. Slightly larger but they will start cars with completely flat batteries unlike most of the small ones.
my folks 2 years in a row have overtaken me in the truck with their caravan on the m6/m74 coming back up from France its cool seeing them after a month away heading up the road. id freak out if I seen my car overtake me as no one drives it bar myself lol
Agree with the practicing reversing around a yard if you have one at your disposal Don’t put your card in though, if you’re not being paid for it and you don’t go on public roads then it doesn’t matter
Luke, your videos are awesome. but i have minor suggestion. Please reduce the volume of the opening part of the video. it just blasts eardrum everytime when the video starts.
@@AnthonyValentine-vm1yc i think the issue is with the first few seconds of the video where he displays channel members. Not sure if he added it or YT added it. I never faced this issue in other channels yet.
Having to ring your boss to say that the truck caught fire because you put a 30 amp fuse in is going to do your career prospects the world of good 😂😂😂😂😂
@@lukecinahgv just keep an eye on it for melting or burning and and pull the fuse if it starts to overheat, you've mentioned it so your ass is covered if anything happens, that's all you can do,it's up to the company really to tell you what I'm telling you not me, safe driving Luke
For reversing, and caravans etc. To practice reversing, try to find an open space after visiting a charity shop, and lay some jumpers down on the floor, and reverse the caravan / trailer into a space. Just get an observer to check for over swing. I used to recommend end this to horse box people collecting hay from my farm many years ago, and a customer did this and thanked me for the recommendation, and had a lot more confidence on the road afterwards. Also, amazing how many drivers can drive forwards, but not in reverse full stop.
My car runs on 98 Octane supreme fuel (never anything else) and LPG AutoGas. My car is a dual fuel vehicle. My car uses LPG AutoGas for normal running and Petrol for Start Up (cold engine) and High Power demand situations.
Not sure if its a qashqai but had similar issue and was Starter and fuel filter so the fuel filter gets clogged or fuel pump sensor goes and then starting the car puts strain on the starter because there isn't enough fuel flowing freely that was my understanding
Is there any chance you could record a little bit on your gear changing, maybe like half and half? As I’m going for my hgv and I’m just curious. Thanks and keep up the good videos
Your wife is a superstar but modern car manufacturers are too caught up in their own hype. Do you know what, I have designed a car that will do 300mpg, it has all kinds of assistive technology which will guarantee it will never be involved in an accident. If only we could get it to run, it would be a world beater. The driving part is interesting because your skill may teach the idiots about why you guys need more room than a Nissan Micra. That camera angle for the reverse was brilliant. PS - you didn't fix the fuse, you have a short - you are now officially classed as a fire hazard.
ofc its dead is a Nissan haha, cant say their lack of quality control improved at all since the Renault merge... may have even goten worse.. those jump packs though are fantastic may be one of the best things I've bought recently. used as a charger for multiple devices at once. also has a dc out for a 12V adapter so been using it to inflate a leaky tyre instead of starting the car up to do it.
ya gota try hat demon ice stuff.. miles better than using those aerosol de-icers (they basically single use almost) had one bottle has lasted me almost the whole "season"
sounds like the nissan battery might be no good look at the battery and see if it looks like its swelling up on the sides or maybe a faulty cell in the batt
Getting close to my license now, did the ADR test on the 6th got 26/27 correct sadly i do not get to see the question i got wrong i bet it is read fast and answer fast. Next week i will have a 160 minute school drive, then the day after it is my check ride and if i get the safety check, function questions and driving correct i have my truck license, then i just like to get the next level to pull trailer to.
I had an issue with my audi. Not like yours necessarily when it comes to not being able to turn over just after driving. However I did some testing and my nextbase dashcam is drawing a tonne of power for some reason (now disconnected) where I had a new battery fitted as it was dead. To then new battery causing issues a few months later to the point not driving for a day the battery would be flat. So I then bought a battery pack like you have anyway but since unplugging the dashcam no problems whatsoever. Parasitic drains can be a bastard to isolate I got lucky. Seems yours may be more of a wiring issue with the starter or loose battery connection?
I find you're concentrating on your cameras than dealing with what's around you find videoing whilst driving a total danger, that was an understatement and theses vlogs illegal as they should be!
I find you’re completely incorrect, and that if you feel recording yourself whilst driving is such a danger, I question YOUR ability and skills. How dangerous of a driver must you be if you could be so easily distracted? I’m very cautious of the road ahead of me to the extent that many other time I’ve spotted incidents and accidents ahead of time. My cameras are voice activated. I do not touch them. I do not care that they are on. My driving is the same with or without. I am simply talking to myself and explaining what I am doing. It’s absolutely no different to having a passenger in your seat and much safer than talking hands-free on the mobile phone, or having children in the back screaming because then you are having a really concentrate. I find your comment, absolutely ludicrous .
You literally just said everyone is entitled to an opinion, then say you’re going to complain about it? 😂 so I’m not entitled to my opinion then? I wasn’t being rude. I was being factual. It isn’t distracting in the slightest. I don’t care if you watch my videos or not. I make them because I enjoy doing making them. I do Not do it for views. The views are just a nice bonus. 👍🏻
Pilots use flow patterns, when we set up flight decks or do walk around checks outside. There is a master plan but we learn that then commit to memory. By the way, a 30amp fuse in a 15amp slot…not the best idea. It’s blowing for a reason!
You have just basically admitted to loving your car more than your wife, if there's no video next week we can probably presume your in hospital with a broken neck, or your wife has hidden your body somewhere, you should've known better Luke 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nissan anti theft is aweful when it goes wrong. Guy i work with had similar problem, try using the key on its own. What i mean is no other keys on the fob, i am not kidding.
If I said my car was more important than my wife I know what she would say if I asked her to give me a lift to work it would be along the lines of " you can f#£k right off and walk "
I guess it’s also wrong to keep an eye on how fast you’re going looking at a speedometer…. I guess it’s wrong to do mirror checks, blind spot checks, looking at satnav etc. do you think we look ahead and only ahead? Do you drive?
Luke don't use de icer that damages your seals on your car and secondly why don't you ever show some outtakes once on a while you may get a few more views also why don't you ever talk about the rest of the road legends as well .
There is lots I didn’t do on camera. Like check horn, check steering, air pressure, oil, 😂 just cause you didn’t see it, doesn’t mean I didn’t to it…. Or does it 😂
