It's not about transparency but i really do love how you came out, truthfully knowing how young girls get impacted by "I'm all natural" type of influencers and models.
I completely agree with your point but I’m slightly confused by the ‘it’s not about transparency’. What do you mean by this? Like transparency doesn’t matter or like “in a seperate point to transparency”
Wow that’s what I call getting your money’s worth! If you didn’t tell us, I wouldn’t even have been able to tell, it looks very natural. You look beautiful as always ❤ Thank you for sharing🤗
Yes so true! And her transparency about it is amazing! But many people have been noticing in her reels/shorts that their is a change! Some people said her face looks different etc etc! That's totally normal! Just pointing it out!
The end results so far are really nice, thanks for vlogging this recovery process for us to see. I'm a side sleeper,so I'd be doomed trying to stay rested during recovery 😂😂..
this is why youre my favorite beauty influencer. not because youre "all natural" but because you are transparent and open about the process and the surgery.
I feel that this is what plastic surgery is for ; enchance your natural beauty. You didn't change your feature, we still recognize you (if you get what i'm saying). Well done 👌 you look beautiful as always ✌️
@@jacksparrow8186 true ! Many have cross that line. I feel that there is not enought laws around the practice of cosmetic surgery in my opinion. A lot of doctors shouldve said no but they wanted the money....
@@roxane444 LET PEOPLE LIVE THE WAY THEY WANT TO! IF THEY LIE ABOUT IT OR THINK IT'S TYE ONLY SOLUTION FOR EVERYONE IN THE WORLD THAT'S A PROBLEM! OTHERWISE LET THEM DO WHAT THEY WANT WITH THEIR MONEY!
Thank you for sharing your story w us. Bc tbh, you don't owe us anything, it's very nice you wanna be transparent w us, especially for those who deal w similar issues
My daughter-in-law had this done, and her results were also brilliant. I used the same pillow for the same reason, after having facial plastic surgery. It actually became a habit, to keep me from sleeping on my face. Wishing you good fortune on your journey. 🔮
Cannot explain how much I respect your transparency and showing yourself through the process and explaining your thoughts. Lessened my beauty standard anxieties with how open you were. Thank you ❤
I'm in the same boat. I've had under-eye issues since I was pretty much born. To be honest, I didn't know a surgery like this existed. I don't think it will influence me to get it, but I really appreciate the knowledge and the transparency since you have such a large audience.
Yeah, same. I think for me acceptance was the solution. I don't think I want to get surgery and i used to hate how it looked in my teen years but now I don't really mind.
You not lying and pretending to have not gotten any work done at all like so many other famous people is really a testament to your good nature. I’m sure you’re aware of how harmful these recent years of lying about surgeries has been on all people, but especially young women. Well done Maddie, it should be the norm but sadly it isn’t. So I’m proud of you for being one of the first and setting the example xxxx
I almost agree! Lying is the problem and thinking it's the only solution for everyone in the world! Of course a person can choose and be like it's my choice and that's the best solution in my opinion! But keeping it to yourself and not wanting to reveal it is her choice! She doesn't owe us anything!
@@meghasinghania1 and that’s why I said “not lying”. They 100% don’t have to say I GOT PLASTIC SURGERY. But when asked if they had, saying “no I haven’t gotten any done” when you have is the problem I’m highlighting. They can absolutely choose to not disclose if they want. But when asked then, instead of saying no they haven’t they should answer “I’m not comfortable talking about that” or “I’d prefer not to say/go into specifics of that” or “can we speak about something else?” or even just a “thank you, but next question please :)” . All those and any equivalent is perfectly acceptable and should be respected.
I love when people share their procedures, because its the best way for others to decide wether to get something done or not. Pictures just dont do justice what vlogs like this do. Actually seeing someone before, in videos, and then after and recovering on video is so beneficial to those considering surgeries! You look great btw! They did a wonderful job.❤
I am sooooo glad you shared this ❤️ it’s so refreshing to have an “influencer” share their plastic surgery with their viewers. I hope others follow your lead
If influencers/celebs lie and expect it to be the only solution for other people in the works it's a problem! But sharing is their choice! They don't owe us anything!
I love the transparency, it’s so important for youth to see realistic standards whether natural or thru surgical means. I hope your recovery continues as amazing as it’s been!
I love how open you are about the process of having surgery. Like everyone said in the comments. If you didn't say anything, no one would've known anything.
I don't think any of us thought you needed any work done but thank you for sharing your story! We need to get rid of the notion that people should hide their plastic surgery. You can be a pretty woman with or without it but it's icky to lie about being natural when you're not. So this was appreciated ❤
@@meghasinghania1 That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that people shouldn't feel the need to hide the fact that they got any work done. The reason why Kylie Jenner got hated on for years wasn't cos she got plastic surgery at a young age. It's that she kept lying about it. Especially since she was pretending that her lip kit was why her lips looked so plump, and not because of lip filler.
Normalizing plastic surgery? 😂 I think it's great for her to share, much better than the alternative, but I don't like the normalisation of plastic surgery as surgeries always come with health risks
I loved the results! I never thought you would get surgery cause you're soo beautiful. Thank you for sharing your recovery and being so open and honest. Love you!
When I was 33 (now 44) I got a lower bleph and have absolutely LOVED IT. It's the only cosmetic surgery I've had (no Botox/fillers/lasers either). I have a personal fetish with not looking tired, especially around my eyes. I still have creping when I smile but I can't see my eye luggage when looking in a mirror across the room or up close anymore. I'm so glad I did it and have had zero desire to have any other cosmetic surgeries (I will get a lower facelift when the neck starts to sag. In the meantime push-ups and pull-ups are keeping it tight). You look great!
As far as plastic surgery goes, this looks GREAT on you. I generally don't care for how plastic surgery looks. But as you said, you just look refreshed... normal, but refreshed.
I think you’re such an awesome woman. Yes you do have privileges that a lot of us don’t however you’re honest and seem to be genuinely lovely. I get lots of joy seeing you wear beautiful clothes and I also love seeing how happy you are with your life. I’m a British 46 year old mum of two so not your target audience but I love your channel just the same. Glad you’re doing things that make you happy and I cannot wait to see your wedding pics 🥰
Just so you know, she didn't have these privileges when growing up and even when she started her videos. It's a very interesting thing she talks about in her Q & A video
It takes a lot of guts to be a YT content creator. It takes even more to show the world something so personal. If anyone could do it, they would. Congratulations, Maddie, on being so fearless and for being brave enough to share your journey.
Girrrrrl, I’m obsessed with you! So awesome to see someone young having a little bit of work done and being honest about it. You look great and I’m dying over your post anaesthetic accent being so much more American sounding 😂 love your videos ❤️
Stunning result - I did the same for my upper eyelid at age 55 and it is the best investment of my life. You look stunning and kudos to you. These small minimally invasive surgery are now available to us for exactly these reasons. To refresh and make us feel pretty and confident. Great decision on your part and look at the beautiful result.
Good for you! It's obvious this is something that bothered you and you seem extremely happy to have this done so that's what matters... If you're happy then we are happy for you!! Looks great💥
I never noticed the puffiness under your eyes before but now that I’m looking specifically at the difference between your old and new videos, it looks so good!! It’s making me consider it for myself 😂
Im SO happy you shared this I want this surgery so bad and never actually noticed your bags but thank you for being transparent and sharing where you went I love this!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you just coming out and saying you had the surgery.. I really think transparency is so important and helpful in the beauty industry.. It just helps people to have realistic expectations of themselves 😊 You looked gorgeous before, and you look gorgeous now.. very naturally done.. 😁
I love this. Thanks for sharing this with us and not contributing to the unrealistic beauty standards seen online. Love your results, wish you the best.
I’m really glad you didn’t have something incredibly drastic…however if you had that’s totally up to you of course… you are very beautiful, very lovely personality and funny. But I’m so impressed with your transparency and your honesty. These days with social media addiction so prevalent among young people, it’s very important for anyone with any following to stand up and be truthful ❤
Your under eyes look amazing!! I have wanted this surgery for a while, but always assumed it was too major of a surgery for someone my age. (I am around your age) you’ve inspired me!!
Honey you look like a 15 year old SERIOUSLY! You are one of the most exquisitely beautiful creatures I’ve seen on all social media! And I’m not a creep creeping on you, I’m a Grandma and watch a lot of videos and one of your followers! Keep doing you cause you’re doing a GREAT job!
Good for you babe! Doing something “controversial” but FOR YOURSELF is hard, but if it makes YOU feel better then heck yes! I love that you vloged this whole process and normalized that plastic surgery sometimes helps genetic problems, I’ve had two immediate family members go though cosmetic procedures that helped with preconditioned genetic issues too and they both feel so much better and more confident now 😊❤
Lol i agree with you about lewis’s news so much 😂 i had also woken up from my nap and saw the news on instagram and I thought am I dreaming still??😂🤷🏻♀️ also love your transparency about this whole procedure🙌🏻 not everyone is as confident as you are sharing ur most vulnerable self🤝 Kudos!
Thank you for showing that after surgery look and commentary on how it feels. I'm 60 and people say I look 40. I do see the drooping around my nose, mouth, and neck. I feel like I need a lift.
Thank you so much for your honesty my daughter four years old and I genuinely get tired of people asking me is she tired even though she’s not. When she was born I just called them her little baby bags and I never knew about the surgery and if she wants to get it when she’s older I will hundred percent pay for it for her. ❤❤ But it’s honestly annoying when people bring them up especially in front of her, though she’s very beautiful 😊
been following your progress on TT, but I really super appreciate that you also updated on YT 💖. I really appreciate your transparency on this. I have the same eyebags problem as you as its also genetic, but I seem to have gotten it the worst among my entire family 😅😵. looking forward to your future vids Maddie 🥰
I'm so glad that you're alive, Maddie. They did a wonderful job with everything step by step. Happy Friday and...HAPPY BELATED LEAP DAY!😊😀😙💙💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸🌷🇬🇧💜💜💜💜💜💜😊🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍
I’m so happy for you. Love how you show your true self which is as beautiful as the masterpiece you create. Thank you for sharing such a personal thing with us.
You sounded SO American in the early recovery clips and then slowly went back to your normal English/American accent. I’m more interested in how the surgery changed your voice than the eyes. But it seems to have been successful, I’m glad
I can't express how much I love you, Maddie! I could never be jealous of you or your happiness. I am so thrilled for you to get something that bothered you corrected. Thank you for being so transparent about the whole thing. You didn't have to share, but you did and that's part of the reason I find you so endearing. You look beautiful, but you were already gorgeous. You do look extremely rested! ❤🥰😍💋
I really appreciate the transparency. I have naturally very dark circles but no bags. As I get older the bags are showing up and the darkness is about the same but my makeup accentuates my eye wrinkles. I’ve never cared about wrinkles (because I love old people who you can see smiled their whole lifetime) but my own personal dark circles really bother me. I’m looking into it more and found this very informative ❤ you look lovely btw ❤
This gives me hope and inspiration that if I go to the right doctor, I can have great results with this cosmetic procedure as well! I have a different skin tone to you, but the exact same under eye condition (excessive under eye bags) 😩 I hope one day, when I can afford it, the results look as good as yours! 🙌💕
You look great! I have always had eye bags but now that I am older, I think I have finally grown into my face. I look way younger than anyone my age. Thank you for sharing this.
Well done Maddie. It looks fabulous and completely undetectable. Thank you for being so honest. I have exactly the same under eye problem, but not the funds to do anything about it. Let me just live vicariously through you and your fresh eye area. It’s nice to know, that a beautiful and successful lady as you isn’t born perfect either. I hate the lies we’re told by the likes of the Kardashians about not having had anything done “apart from a bit of Botox”.
All things are true, you owe no one an explanation but at the same time you're a public figure whose also a model, so honesty about plastic sugery is needed. As long as plastic surgery is for you and no one else go for it guys.
It seemed like they also injected you with more American when they did your surgery Maddie! Love how each time you did an update the British came back more🤭 Also, just to repeat what everyone has said, the transparency is amazing especially for younger people who have grown up seeing filters/plastic surgery thinking its natural, its sad!💗 Xx
I'd been wondering, but hadn't commented - didn't want to be thought a troll. I was thinking you'd had cheek implants or fat transfer, because your face is wider in the middle now. And possibly threading the eyes to bring the ends up. Be careful going forward. You're a stunning woman, and I'd NEVER noticed anything wrong under your eyes in the past. (And your figure is BEYOND!) xo
Thank you so, so much for sharing this. While I believe that people with high public visibility do deserve privacy like anyone else, I really appreciate transparency when it comes to plastic surgery. I think destigmatizing cosmetic surgery and normalizing bodies/aging actually go hand in hand - it’s so hard to validate ourselves and our bodies when influential people retain youthful looks and meet specific beauty standards, but it’s much easier when we know those things aren’t “naturally” occurring.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ve been looking at this for years and this super helps me to think it’s the right thing to do, you look even more amazing Xx
