What people don't realize is the golf shaft is basically the "engine" of the car. It's what makes the club... The head is obviously important, but I would argue the shaft is much more important. A proper fitting is a great experience.

Hey Micah. I was struggling with my game to. What helped me was a mental issue. I would constantly get angry and once I do I make mistakes one after the other. I learned to control myself mentally by not allowing a mistake upset me. What I learned from a martial arts instructor is he said that "An angry mind is a narrow mind" so relax brother ease your mind and build a mental discipline to avoid getting angry. Take your time and make sure every shot you take you are comfortable doing so. It changed my game for the better cause I'm beginning to shoot more under par then 10 over par. I truly it can help you through your struggle. I believe in you, your fans believe in you, and now you need to believe in your self.

If you cut the shaft, it’ll be the same story again with the high spin. You have to add 6 grams of weight to the head for every half inch you cut down to keep the swing weight somewhat the same

I've been playing a mizuno driver all year, absolutely love it. Definitely an underrated club brand outside of irons.

Just started golf this year and my height intimidated me into thinking that I couldn't hit bombs but watching tig has definitely changed that notion. Definitely need more technique videos from this beast!

I'm not the biggest fan of GM, Good Good and associated channels probably because I'm not their target audience but........ Micah has to be one of the best drivers of the ball I've seen period. Seriously good. There's some PGA guys that would be prepared to eat broken glass to have Micahs ability with driver in hand. Kudos!

Glad he brought out the Mizuno, really underrated in the metalwood and hybrid categories. Unless you hate the look of the Pings (turbulators aren't for everyone) I'm surprised he didn't bring out the LST. Look forward to seeing the new stick in play.

About time! Been saying he needed to get fit forever. Wish they would have put you in the Ventus Black. I have the Tensei Pro White TX and moved to the Ventus Black because it worked better. Before that the Tensei was the best shaft I had ever hit, Ventus beat it out.

Tig, I am so happy for you !! I have seen u struggle back and forth with the Mavrik and M2, yanking the first, pushing the latter, (never being able to settle on one). I am looking for a new driver as well and seen a couple great reviews of the Mizuno driver. Having 1200 rpm less spin should be the perfect club for you. (Garrett better watch out for u on Sunday!)

That was ridiculous especially the SIM at 404 that’s insane. I would have love to see the tensai white with sim head dialed in with the weights. I think you could be getting long drive numbers. But I’m not the expert and I will say you can’t go wrong with Mizuno in any club they just do things right. Keep it up Tig and I know it’s been a thought but with that swing and timing you have mixed with the right setup and a little training and you could be the next Kyle “wow he hit that literally 1/4 mile” Berkshire. I recently picked up a 7.5° Hogan driver that I am getting reshafted to a Stiff in hopes to get my ball flight out of the clouds.

I recently went to a golf shop and hit drivers and walked out with a Srixon; glad you got what worked best and not what you thought would be best before going in. Straight bombs incoming!

Surprised they didn't try the G425LST...curious if that wouldve produced better results than the Mizzy...love that even though u hit the ball well with ur M2 ur still grinding to get better...thanks for the great content

I'm surprised to see you didn't hit the new Cobra Speedzone with the HZDRUS shafts. I have similar trackman numbers to you, and the SZ with the HZDRUS Black was flying off the face.

Titleist tsi3 is the way to go. I can't play callaway or the last taylormade drivers with the shallow face. Believe me I tryed. Mizuno and srixon look good too.

So I quickly looked up the effect of altitude on driving distance and here's some interesting things. At higher altitude you actually want more spin as the air is thinner and therefore you need more spin to keep the ball up. Additionally you gain about 2.5 yards per 1000 feet of elevation. Denver is about 5280 above sea level and Dallas is 430 so Tigs numbers were only juiced by about 12 yards. However that's really only with the driver that was almost getting 400 yards because that driver was spinning close to 3k which is good for Denver but bad for Dallas. I wouldn't be surprised if Tigs full distance off the tee back in Dallas will be in the 375 range because whatever yards he loses because of the altitude he'll make up with his spin being correct. I mean he was hitting it 350 with a driver that was way over spinning to begin with. That's all to say that the numbers in the launch monitor weren't all that juiced. I mean 12 yards is a lot but people thinking Tig's 380 yards is really 320 in Dallas are just wrong. Get this man on the long distance tour for real.

Yo Micah! I think that you may have really liked the TSI3 with the Tensei White Shaft. I think it may have out performed the Mizuno that you liked! But never the less, good choice!!! Bless.

Subtract 90-100 yards to adjust for the altitude, tig you are an animal; hope you got the club you love
