Maggie's Fireball is going to be INSANE. Throw it into a room full of enemies, now they're burning AND stunned?! Finally Maggie's ult will be good for something. And the thermite doesn't just damage enemies, it damages their equipment too. A building locked down by Caustic and Watson? Chuck the ball in there, and destroy all their traps.
@@Kfettiiino they won't but the original comment mentions watson specifically so in the situation they describe of caustic and Watson holding down a building the ball will be destroyed by wattson ult
I’ll be honest, I feel a lot better about this update after hearing you explain how it all works. The shield thing had me very worried but it actually makes sense and most of the ability upgrades aren’t too crazy
Some are crazy tho... Maggie literally exterminate a small room with her ult and caustic covers a whole end circle with his ult. Also if u checked ramparts perk with the faster reloading behind amped walls. You can basically non-stop shooting
At just personally don’t handle change well, I hate learning new things when I’m so comfortable with how things were. But after Kandy explained all of it I am more excited than I was before lol. I just feel like there’s gonna be wayyy too many things for my brain to worry about and think about.
I’m really excited for this update since it shakes up strategies from previous metas. It makes you think more strategically on how to approach enemies as they could have upgrades based on their armors. It also encourages getting into fights and being a team player with using your passive.
I don't think this is going to do anything to the game, players left for other games and Apex was like "oh no better change everything to get the players back!" now people who planned on returning like me will decide nevermind
@@pinktr_eeyou’re an outlier buddy. i’m and old player myself and haven’t plaid in a year. these changes are definitely gonna make ppl return. you just want the same game😭 but somehow want it to get better
I like the shield update. Simplifies things while keeping much of what was good about it like rewarding armor swapping. I’m a little unsure about the crafter changes, but everything else in this season looks absolutely awesome.
Honestly this update is probably what makes me come back to the game after a year hiatus. I played it on and off before and not really playing seriously but the more games I played the more I just got stomped more and more by sweaty players and kinda just gave up, but this update with all the changes add a nice bit of flavor into the combat and overall gameplay flow which I really like.
Thanks Kandy for making some of the best apex content I hope you and boom continue to bring us amazing videos. When I feel alone and depressed your videos cheer me up you're bubbly personalities are awesome
I like the new shield update. You can swap and not worry about someone coming up on your armor and it possibly being grabbed by an enemy while swapping in a fight. The seeing grenades is trash lol
8:33 if you can drop your core to your teammates, maybe a decent idea sometimes to give it to teammates that are a lower level. Like before a fight you know of, but have time, drop your red to your teammates with say blue, and then use a battery on yourself before pushing the fight. Depending on how long the timer is before the bonus armor disappears, could be good. Also means batteries are a good bit stronger and more valuable (assuming that I'm right abt how it works dropping shields for teammates)
haven’t plaid apex in like a year and this is really interesting. i think it makes players have to actually think rather than just spamming shield swaps
I agree 100%. I run the Eva with Maggie so getting a knock and the instant reload is MAGICAL. Gonna be dangerous. That increased drill size is sweet as well. Honestly the whole setup for her is gonna be dangerous. Finally some love for Maggie mains.
Haven't played since the girl with the bat launched, and I'm looking forward to playing Apex again with this update as revenent the most. His playstyle suits me the most, and I absolutely love the idea of jumping around and killing everyone all the time and never slowing down. Sounds like heaven honestly
So as a crypto main that 50% extra EMP range is both good and bad, extra range obviously but that means you have to drive the drone further if you want to emp right in front of you and not be hit. But calling out squads in the area isn’t useful since you already do that with the banners. Will be interesting to experiment with
I like the amount of changes they made but idk about the perk thing for when you level up your shield, I feel like that adds a lot more unnecessary things you have to account for in fights now
I think Pathfinder should be able to pop cells or batteries on a zipline. Damage reduction is cool, but, I think that wouldn’t make Pathfinder better. He'd be the only one using the “popping shields on a zip” perk and should be exclusive to Pathfinder. I mean, since Pathfinder literally uses ziplines the most and is a robot.
I think the DR buff is actually aimed at competitive play. It sounds like he temporarily charges the ziplines on initial placement, giving both him AND teammates DR for safer rotation
Also does hitting an enemy with wrecking ball with thermite upgrade automatically start burning them? Or do they have to walk into the fire after the explosion?
Im wondering how vantage's passive would work with this shield change. Would it tell you the enemy has red shields even though they really have blue or would it be red and you just assume it's not temporary?
What does "extend nox vision" even meaning? does it work after enemies leave the gas? because if enemies need to be in the gas for it to work nothing changes.
one thing i was wondering with watsons ult, if your teamate throws a hability and it gets eaten by the pylon, will it spawn a arc star? a fuse could cheese this out by throwing Qs at the pylon and spawning endless arc stars
Catalysts perks arent really upgrades, the ult meant to be 73 meters with the upgrade instead of 55, now just 40 instead of 55m and 55m are in the perks.
Possibly, but i just see it as choosing your perks based on the how the game is going. Maybe one perk would be more useful in that game but not in another. Idk, guess we just gotta see
Mirage is lowkey going to be a problem! He can essentially have unlimited clones with fast ult charge AND the bamboozle bonus! Good thing i play him, Lol.
@@derkschot4865 a lot of people were just talking about how anything changing was bad without giving good reasons. But new players having difficulty understanding it is a good reason for why the change might be not that great.
