Thank you for this video! I was diagnosed with coeliac back in 2009 in Italy, and when I came to the uk I let my GP know this, however I was never contacted for flu or pneomococcal vaccines, and still no news about the COVID one! This is really frustrating, not sure whether it's because I wasn't diagnosed here

Great video! I also just got my first dose of the Covid vaccine due to being Celiac. I was reading about it today and it turns out there may also be another benifit to Celiacs getting the vaccine early. Researchers have noticed that patients with a weakened immune system will almost always have a larger amount of virus inside them (when they become infected). This makes it much more likely for the virus to mutate. From what I read, they think that most Covid mutations have occurred in patients with a weakened immune system. Great video!

I'm 47 and have coeliac desease in the UK and I received a text to book my vaccination, which I wasn't expecting on the 03/03/21, I managed to get an appointment on the 4th!!! Happy days, although I felt mild symptoms the next day but its better than being dead!

I think you can always choose which arm as long as you say. I normally get asked. I used to always get injections in my left arm but I’ve realised now that I sleep on my left side. When my arm was a bit sore from the injection I couldn’t get to sleep so I think I will ask for my right arm next time 😊 Also I’m the same Morgan that messaged you about being gluten free Morgan’s the other day.. just incase you thought there was a sharp rise 😂

i have an appointment with my GP tomorrow to argue that i should get my vaccine due to coeliac disease! fingers crossed they listen to me, if not i'll send them this video 😉
